Obviously not in the grand scheme of things, but I'd like to hear some opinions.

I have tons of Vol fans for friends. I'd say around 65% like UT basketball more than UT football.

I think there's a good portion of the under 21 crowd that likes UT basketball more than UT football.

I won't start a poll (it's too easy to screw up), so I'd like to hear opinions from the younger members of VN.

If I had to take only one I would choose football. But I would be heartbroken if faced with that kind of dilemma. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Not to ruin your post, but I was under 21 43 years ago.
My hope for the future of TN football is at about a 1 right now.
TN basketball is a 100 plus.
Give me Vol bb.

Follow and support both but Tennessee football is by far my first love!! Btw I'm almost 39 but everyone says I look like I'm in my 20's, that makes me "young" right??

when football is down basketball pops up. Barring some PSU-type scandal football will always be bigger at UT

Well I'm old as dirt and I've liked our basketball better than football since 1977 & have been through all the ups and downs with it. Trying really hard with football now but it's been rough counting back through the last 3 years of Fulmer. It's time to pay the piper. Everyone thought Bama was nuts paying Saban - he's maded them a whole more money that it cost them. So the proper investment is worth it.

I don't expect the grand scheme of things to ever change, but yeah, I'll take UT bball over football 10/10 times.

I am a 74 year oldTennessee fan and have and will always pull for ALL Tennessee teams. I am sadden when any of our teams fall on hard times. However, Tennessee sports will always rebound. We will see our football and other teams improve and be National leaders in the future. We just need to be patient and enjoy the future.

I'm 22 and enjoy both sports. Do I think basketball will be bigger? No, do I think it has a chance to be more successful than football? Absolutely.
