Basketball Forum to Main Forum

Isn't it about time for the transformation. I understand the prospective coaches importance but it's getting redundant and basketball should be on the main forum now IMO.:twocents:

It certainly should be, but the hoops talk would probably get lost in coach talk, recruiting and speculation right now on the main board..

I didn't like it at first, but it's good with me to keep them seperated. The threads still show up in the main forum when there are new posts. It's so much easier going to the basketball forum and being able to see it all with out having to search for it.

For what it's worth, I think the hoops talk would garner more attention there - in coming weeks. It seems there are a lot of VNers that hang out exclusively in there and they are missing out on some good hoops talk. I like the separate forum, but somehow think the hoops should be getting more activity than it is. You should guage it in a couple of weeks and see if the main forum's post count dwindles..

Does the Mod CP on VBulletin allow you to measure average posts per day by forum?

Either that - or if we don't rejoin them - swap the order of recruiting and this basketball forum and have basketball 2nd on the list. And then rename the top forum to "Tennessee Football" so people don't get confused. I feel its an injustice to the basketball program to leave the name the way it is while keeping basketball seperate... but that's just me.
