Are the powers that be paying attention ? Can somebody add a poll to this thread or start one with a poll ? I would if I knew how... It would merge which would be perfectly fine...

Just my two cents. I think that as the staff hiring finishes and talks of that dwindles down, it's going to be next to impossible for mods to keep the recruiting/signing day rumors from taking over the main board and for that reason, I think the two should remain separated.

I agree with whoever it was that suggested making the main forum the "Tennessee Football Forum" and keeping this "Basketball". Baseball and Women are already separated, why not separate football and basketball?

Mods and Admin should be able to edit the original post to make it a poll. But I don't really know the functionality of the VBulletin software. I looked into changing my forum over but decided the free software had all the options that I need. My forum is phpbb and it allows me to edit the posts to make them announcements, polls, whatever. The Admin can decide which options are available to the Mods, such as 'Ban' or 'Merge.' Even though it is a different software, I can imagine that it is much the same - probably a bit better.

If they change the main forum to "Tennessee Vols Football" there would be no where to post anything about non-revenue sport's stuff, other than the Sports Forum. I like the info posted on Gatlin, Magnuson, etc.
