Basketball watching 101

I watched Jordan and the Bulls...that wasn't really watching basketball...that was watching Jordan. Other than those few finals, nope... I never watched more than a few quarters here and there.

Never played organized basketball... I did shoot horse a time or three.

No trolling, it was a serious post.

I played football and baseball..... Just trying to get into basketball now... My son is into it so it's something we can watch together. I just need to understand it more.

Thanks for those who answered, that helps me a lot. I'm already understanding better.

I personally think we would do better with the 1-2-3 as stated in original question. We could use the extra man

UK runs a 2-2-3-1 zone...Two refs on the sideline, the two twins up front, then Young, WCS, and Randle down low and then the last ref down on the baseline. It's the best D out their and even helps on offense, but usually only works in Rupp... :birgits_giggle:
