Winning or losing against Notre Dame has no effect at all on the ACC race. Regardless of how VT does in that game, the race remains the same.

Duke has now won the Liberty Bell 3 times in 5 years while under David Cutcliffe. This is the best Duke has done in this series since winning 4 out of 5 from 1985-1989 (3 of which were under Steve Spurrier).

Cut has done very well with that program over there. He's been quite consistent

I was actually cheering for UNC last night.

They have a freshman OT from Jacksonville, William Sweet, whose father was the ring bearer in my parents' wedding 52 years ago. He played a little last night when UNC's starting LT Spain left the game injured.

That said, come basketball season....F Roy Williams.
