This is so hard

Beatles, Floyd, and Cream/Stones/Queen/Zombies/Who roulette for the 3 spot

Today I found out Fleetwood Mac and Def Leppard were British. Had no idea.

Led Zeppelin, Joy Division, Echo & the Bunnymen

Others have already saved Pink Floyd, The Clash and The Who, so I am pretty well covered.

Would appreciate it if someone could save Black Sabbath, The Stone Roses and The Smiths.
The 1st time I heard I Wanna Be Adored in early 2000s I was hooked on SRs. That guitar tone is so perfect.

If you really want to learn something new - check out Fleetwood Mac from the Peter Green era; nothing like what people think of as FM

Yeah, I've heard people I love (Marc Maron and Lorde come to mind) talk about those days as the best for FM. I'll check it out.

Here's one nobody knows is originally Fleetwood Mac

made famous by Santana - the singer of the Santana version is Greg Rolle who later found fame along with Santana band mate Neal Schon in Journey

Blur are my favorite band of all time, loved them since their first album.
Also keep Suede and B&S based on their recent albums.

Broken up into decades but a flaw in not having Bush makes it irrelevant
70's Fleetwood Mac, LZ
80's Fleetwood Mac, Def Leppard, The Cure, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, The Human League, The Police and Whitesnake
90's Oasis, Prodigy and The Verve
2000's to now Coldplay

Winner- Fleetwood Mac for crossing over many decades and still going strong
