Anthony Schwartz just ran the fastest high school 100m ever recorded in the month of March.

FloTrack‏ @FloTrack

After further review: Anthony Schwartz's 10.15 is good for a NEW world youth record.

Schwartz needs to follow Trayvon Bromell from Florida to Waco and become an Olympian too.

I, for one, am glad that BUBear continues to spam up the board with all of Baylor's recruiting news.

With such a concise list, we can now tell our daughters/sisters/nieces/various loved-ones who to avoid so that they will not be raped.

These words from a bama fan? With your teams criminal history? And with 15k posts on a Vol board?

Really?

You should take a look at the documentary "Disgraced" which is airing this month on Showtime. It details the 2003 scandal involving the murder of Baylor bball player Patrick Dennehy by teammate Carlton Dotson and the cover up of NCAA violations by then coach Dave Bliss. Bliss tried to frame his murdered player as a drug dealer in order to cover up the fact that his scholarship was being illegally paid for. Between Bliss and Briles, you guys have had some winners. I'm sorry but there can't possibly be a more corrupt athletic department with more out of whack priorities than Baylor.

clearly BuBear doesn't have the VN expertise of reading twitter pics like we do at VN.

for Woodward the Longhorn is the biggest on the state map and listed all together it is given clear importance by being by itself

For Henry the Longhorn is once again the biggest logo except for maybe OSU, but they are further away. and Baylor's logo is clearly the furthest away from Henry himself.

I would say they have zero shot with either.

The story that Zamora related to the Yahoo reporter, Les Carpenter, is consistent with the findings of the Humane Society that the dog had no injuries and was well cared for.

He said he did not strike Guwop directly or attempt to hurt the dog, rather aiming to hit the door beside the dog, hoping the noise would frighten his Rottweiler into not having more accidents.

“There were a lot of marks on the door after that,” he told me. “That’s why it sounded so loud [on the video].”

The author did point this out, though.

As author Jon Ronson wrote about the public’s reaction to viral clips in his 2016 book, “So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed”:

“For the first time in 180 years – since the stocks and pillory were outlawed – we have the power to determine the severity of some punishments.”

Ex-Tennessee RB Jalen Hurd will switch to WR at Baylor, source says

ESPN Staff Writer

Former Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd announced Saturday that he will transfer to Baylor.

A source at Baylor said Hurd will switch positions to wide receiver.

In his Tennessee career, Hurd rushed for 2,638 yards and 26 total touchdowns before leaving the Volunteers in the middle of an injury-plagued 2016 season.

The junior reportedly also visited Ohio State and Louisville before choosing Baylor.

Because he's not a graduate transfer, Hurd won't be eligible until the 2018 season.

The Bears played their annual spring game Saturday shortly before Hurd revealed his decision.

Ish Wainright officially joining Baylor football roster

Former Baylor basketball player Ish Wainright will hang up the sneakers for a set of football cleats in 2017.
After watching Rico Gathers play tight end for the Dallas Cowboys, Ish Wainright will take his chances on the Baylor football team.

Wainright suited up for Baylor’s Tuesday practice after finishing his fourth season with the Bears basketball team at Madison Square Garden last month. The 6-5, 235-pound Wainright will have one year of collegiate eligibility on the football team in the fall.

“He’s got the frame that looks like an NFL tight end,” said Baylor coach Matt Rhule. “He’s got really good hands and from what I’ve seen he hasn’t been afraid to block. We haven’t put him in any live situations yet. But in drill work he’s shown a comfortability in blocking.”

Following his basketball career for the Bears, the 6-8, 280-pound Gathers was a sixth-round pick by the Dallas Cowboys last spring and spent the 2016 season on the practice squad.

Wainright was one of the leaders of Baylor’s basketball team that reached the Sweet 16 this year as he averaged 5.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists. He started all 35 games and was the only senior on the squad.

“Just as a fan I noticed Ish appears to be a really good team guy and a tremendous leader and person,” Rhule said. “We’re excited to see if this works out. We recruited him really hard. Ish will try to work out all the kinks over the next year.”

The Bears are stacked at tight end Jordan Feuerbacher, Sam Tecklenburg, Quan Jones, Josh Malin and Jayson Clements on board. Though Wainright hasn’t played football since ninth grade, Rhule believes he can make up ground fast since since several members of his staff have NFL coaching experience.

“There’s guys doing this transition all over the NFL and I think we have really great coaches who think outside the box,” Rhule said. “If it doesn’t work out he’ll just go back to playing (pro) basketball. He’s got a pretty cool legacy right now as a Baylor Bear and he can add on to that, and maybe has chance to play pro football.”

The only injury Hurd suffered was a severe sprain in his lady parts.
