It's always about Bama's schedule with you.

Only when we are talking about SOS. It's always about being defensive to you, big tough Bama guy can't take it. :shaking2:

Back to the conversation, my take at the beginning of the year that this was a weak SEC. I haven't seen anything to change my mind. We'll see.

A gambling site guy told ESPN Central Texas today that his KSU insiders are reporting there is a 95% chance the Wildcats Top 2 WRs won't play on Saturday.

Bovada still doesn't have a line on the game with a 1:30 EST kick.

Sucks.

That WR just nearly killed that DB. Absolutely brutal downfield block. Kid was twitching...looked like an MMA knockout.

Close call today. Youre gonna have those on the road. Snyder had his boys ready to fight today. Pettys first fourth quarter play all year and he throws a td pass to bring his team from behind.

Also Bryce's 1st road game as the starter.

Fugly road win for sure but will take. The last two seasons we were 1-6 in Oct this year 2-0.

Word . You program is ok when scoring 35 and winning on the road seems a little disappointing

Well this sux.
The play in question took place in the first half on Saturday, and involved Coleman throwing a block against a Kansas State DB. The Conference has reviewed the play and apparently believes that targeting should have been called, because of course. Mike Davis, who decided that one of ISU's defenders had three knee ligaments too many gets nothing. Corey Coleman, throwing a legal block, gets suspended.

Clay Travis thinks Baylor has "clear path" to #3 ranking.

3. Baylor survived on the road and now has a clear path as the top non-Oregon and Alabama team

I think Baylor would leap an undefeated Ohio State if the Bears finished 12-0. The reason?

First: Baylor's better than Ohio State. Second: The Big 12 is better than the Big Ten. Third: Right now Las Vegas would have Baylor installed as at least a touchdown favorite over Ohio State.

Sure, the road win at Kansas State wasn't a work of art, but Baylor is still a young team. That was the Bears' first road win in the Big 12 since 2011. Now that they've proven they can do it on the road too, look out.

Will Baylor run the table?

I'm not sure, but the Bears will be favored in every game for the rest of the season. Wins over Iowa State and Kansas should have the Bears 7-0 when Oklahoma comes to town. (As I predicted before the season started, by the way). Then the final five games of the season give Baylor a chance to demonstrate how good they really are: Oklahoma, neutral site against undefeated Texas Tech, at Oklahoma State, at TCU, Texas.

Don't sleep on the Bears.

This is not your father's Baylor Bears...

The thing about Art Briles is his Baylor teams the last couple of years struggled in the first half of the season and come on really strong in the second half.

Well, now we're in the second half of the season and Baylor is undefeated. Could be a really really interesting finish for the Bears. I'm excited to watch it.

Dino Babers killing it at #3 EIU

In case you haven

Babers will tell you his offense that leads this level with those 46.8 points per game and total offense with 584.0 yards per game still is not the finished replica of Baylor, which leads the Football Bowl Subdivision averaging 63.4 points and 714.4 yards.

Sporting News -- Baylor's new look: Lots of wins, top talent and playing for titles

My favorite parts of the article:

What was once a joke of a program and a dead-end job with 14 straight losing seasons, is the new craze in college football. What was once an afterthought when heavyweight Texas was deciding its conference future three years ago—and wasn’t taking Baylor along for the ride—is now the very program poised to revel in the irony of that Bevo-sized arrogance.

Baylor is winning big. Baylor has superstar players. Baylor is ranked in the top 12. Baylor is smack in the middle of the national championship race.

And—isn’t this just a poetic kick in the Longhorn shorts?—Baylor’s coach is the one Texas will covet once this season ends.

Since that first summer of Texas flirting with the Pac-12 (and making decisions on who would and wouldn’t go with), Baylor has more Big 12 victories than the Longhorns. Since that first summer. Baylor has a Heisman Trophy winner and is now on its third record-setting quarterback from the state of Texas the Longhorns failed to recruit.

There are more potential first round NFL draft picks on the Baylor offense than there are on the Texas roster. There’s tailback Lache Seastrunk, guard Cyril Richardson, left tackle Spencer Drango, wideout Antwan Goodley and Petty.

This is nice and all, but the best team they've played is either a 2-4 Kansas State or a West Virginia team that lost by 37 to Maryland. Let's see how they fare in November.

Even if Baylor goes 10-2 that'd be a small miracle wouldn't it? Their last class, the highest ranked ever, was anywhere from 20 to 30th ranked and gets worse as you go back in time.

Scored 70 again. Baylor will have to pay the man this year or he gone.
