Im sooooooo glad that BC won tonight....b/c in Kingsport there are a fair share of Tech fans and I can't stand them

ryan looked horrible for all but 3 passes on the final two drives. if that guy wins the heisman it proves that none of the voters actually watches the games.

i went to bed with about 5 minutes to go.

couldn't believe what i woke up to. VT's defense had handled BC all night. unbelievable.

it's a good win for BC. it won't get them any style points, but that's a W that they'll look back on at the end of the season with a great deal of pride.

as for the rest of their schedule, FSU and Miami wouldn't scare me too much this season. i'd give Miami a much better shot than FSU though. MD is quietly a pretty good team and Clemson is just schizophrenic, so you never know what you get with them.

I can't believe the great press ryan is getting today. did anyone actually watch the game? BC will lose to someone.

He led a two minute drive down the field twice in 3 minutes to win the game. Of course they'll gush over him

Yeah and do you realize if BC had not one all we would be hearing about today was that "touchdown" by VT.

I watched the game, the entirety, but what is worse than the press he is getting, was the camera guys on Ryan after he made both those touchdowns. He was coughing up a storm, bends over and throws up, and the camera guys stay on him while he is doing this. And he looks as though he was going to do more and they continue to stay on him as they talk about them. At least pan the field or something. :sick:

Yeah I saw that myself. Why would they keep the camera on this guy if hes throwing up..that was kind crazy...

and no, i'm not saying he should win it or anything...but it was a gutsy performance given how the other 57 minutes of the game played.

if ryan played like a heisman winner the first 3 quarters and a half of the game BC wouldnt' have had to come back in dramatic fashion. The vtech offense was HORRIBLE.

well the Vtech Defense was pretty good all night long, they harrassed him all night, stopped the run and did what they were supposed to do.

i think that had just a little to do with the ineffectiveness of the BC offense for the majority of the night.

Beamer offenses are never any better than the talent they have, and usually not even that good.

I'm with you, though, droski. If Matt Ryan wins the Heisman this year, it will officially be the biggest fraud ever.

Bigger than, dare I say, Woodson winning it over Manning.

how do you degrade BC's offensive performance by refrencing VT's equally bad offensive performance?

i think VT's defense was overall much better than BC's. VT's offense, was in fact, awful.
