BCS Bull: PAC10/BIG10 Unfairness

I see Oregon-Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. Let's not forget that the sweater vest owns Carr. I still believe, even though Michigan has turned it around, that Ohio State's talent is marginally better.

As far as LSU, I think they can still lose again in the SECCG. Les Miles is a horrible coach who is still riding an incredible wave of talent. It's almost scary to think how good LSU would be if $aban didn't leave for the Phins.

I say Oregon and LSU myself. You are right about how good LSU would be if Saban didnt leave for the Phins...very scary

a) oregon will not jump a one loss LSU team

b) your presidents took the $$$$ and created the conference championship game. they didn't have to. the pac-10 plays every other team in the confernce.

c) oregon would beat oklahoma and the big-12 stinks.

You know, I thought Oregon would jump LSU this week because of the way LSU played Bama. I thought Oregon did a good job of handing ASU a L. :dunno:

LSU was 9-3 Nick's last year when these guys were Soph's plus he had J. Russell. He didn't so much win the SEC in 2001 but rather he was handed it by our piss-poor coaching. A missed thirty something yard field goal in 2003 by Ole Miss allowed him to play for the national championship. His overall W-L record in college coaching is not overly impressive.

Stop this Saban worship, he is a good coach but I think Les Miles is just as good. Miles may not win a NC but you have to be pretty lucky to win one (exhibit: Phillip Fulmer).

i don't see anything wrong with Oregon in the championship game at all... I think it would be very exciting. Only problem would be having to see Oregon's uni's on a bigscreen HDTV.

LSU takes care of business and they'll play in the NC game. OSU is pathetic and likely to lose to UM. Oregon will likely win out and be there, but I like the pollsters to move OU ahead of them in the end.

How are any of them justifying keeping KU out of the hunt, given they're from a BCS conference and posted 76 on Neb yesterday?

If Kansas manages to beat OU, they'll get consideration.

That's all well and good on Saban, but Miles is a hack, and LSU will be in decline once Saban's recruits are gone. The Tigers should have crushed nearly every team they've played at this point with that much talent.

4 weeks in an eternity this season.
agreed, but taking today's top 4:
OSU....schedule is cake, but they win out, they're in.

ORE...no conf. champ. game, but the pac 10 does play a full round robin of conf. games, and if they get in to the top 2, after the schedule they played, i got no problem with it.

LSU: the conf. champ. game only hurts if you lose it.

OU: the conf champ game only hurts if you lose it.

then there's Kansas........if they win out, i got to think they're in.

if i'm LSU, i want Mich to beat OSU. i want anyone to beat KS, and i'll take my chances in the computer points against OK. that should set up an LSU/Ore national title game, which i'd be fine with. If OSU wins out, then i think you just need KS and ORE to lose for LSU/OSU game.

i don't think anyone wants to see a KS/OSU national championship game, but if both are undefeated, it's going to be hard for that not to happen. and i would say KS would deserve to be there over the also undefeated OSU team. I think the three teams ranked behind OSU are all better than OSU. and if by some chance KS, OSU and ORE all lose, then you see LSU/OK.

it's going to be interesting.

If Saban was here, LSU could probably hang up the banner right now...
