BCS Championship Game Thread

I know if I am facing a quandry in a huge game that having Fulmer(the Texas version) figuring a way out if it makes me feel good.

word is colt could have a broken collarbone...but will be re-evaluated at the half...meanwhile bama is throwing the ball why??? I wouldn't call another pass all game

Texas was already going to be outgunned in the late 3rd and on... they needed to put up 20+ before that point. They had the momentum and could have possibly had 14 in the 1st. Once McCoy went out, though, they were done. Gilbert might be the guy in 2 years... but not now. Not against Bama in the biggest game of the year.

Garrett Gilbert will be a very good QB in the future but against this defense with this much on the line, I think that it is safe to say that it's already over. :furious3:

1. McElroy may be the worst QB on a national championship team ever (at least that I've ever seen)

2. How lucky can bama be?...started the game off as badly as they could...took the ball first, faked the punt and threw an INT...McCoy goes down and TX has to kick a FG...next possession they dont even field the kick off...TX settles for a FG, mostly because McCoy was hurt

Not saying that Bama wouldn't have come back and won anyway, but TX could have been up 14-0 to start the game, their defense was pumped, they sacked McElroy several times...how quickly the tide can turn

just hope we can get to where they are in a couple of years...

That's what I thought when I saw it. Breaking a collarbone always looks so nonchalant ALA Adrien Peterson when he was at OU

FSU's backup QB was good enough to beat a really good Florida team in 1998. All we heard for a month from FSU fans was that they were better off now because Outzen was so much more mobile than Weinke. Once they lost, of course, that immediately became the excuse.

Hey! I never complained one bit. But that hurt qb went on to win the NC the next year.

Bama's a better team, mccoy or not. Their D and running game are way too physical for the finesse longhorn team. Will muschamp---overrated.

as long as saban doesnt screw things up with his bone headed decisions then this game is a shoe-in for bama.
