BCS Championship Game Thread

i first thought this when he actually accepted the kick after winning the toss.... with all the emotion that comes from a champ. game and the first five minute jitters that go along with it ALWAYS favors the defense.

then he faked a punt on 4th and 23....

he is soooo lucky McCoy went down.

The receiver on that fake was wide open. If that ball had three more yards on it it would have been a TD. Saban would have been a genius. Either way, Mccoy would not have gone down three plays later and this would possibly be a ballgame. Personally, I liked the call. Aggressive and confident in your D.

I agree with him on the Mccoy getting hurt.. Getting your best player and leader hurt kills the moral of the whole team. Can Mack get them back? Doubt it

I don't know.

I think it wouldn't matter as much as we think. Their defense is getting whipped, which I think most people expected coming in.

Looks like we r going to have to listen to how alabama invented the earth, football, beer and women for the next year

Besides, You do not build a NC team by being an idiot and to even say so puts you at risk of being singled out as one yourself.

Well lets look at the bright side, we will have a chance to beat the national cheater, i mean champion at Neyland next year.

I hear ya..

You think they pump that injury full and send him back out? I just dont know
Well i look at it like this, McCoy has dreamed about this day, wild horses could not keep me off the field.
Of course it would have been better to be down 17-6 instead of 24-6, god that was a stupid call. I liken that call to the hail mary with Ainge before the half against ND, just terrible.

i think they called his dad in there (the lockerroom) to help convince him his future was worth more than the risk of injuring himself so much worse

O I agree the call was horrible. I think since there down 3 scores they dont wanna hurt him worse than he is with the draft coming up

:cray: He won't be a successfil NFL qb. He should suck it up and get the glory for his school.

Good night ladies and gentleman. I feel bad for Herbsteit, he has to make conversation with Bret for the next 2 hours.
