I would love to see Rutgers squeeze in there.

But I want Florida in more, I just don't want No Defense university in there.

Rutgers would get killed. Personaly, I don't think any Big East team is top 10 worthy from what I've seen on the field.

But, everyone is in love with them and I have no vote in any poll except for the VolNation poll so I'll just be quite.

Anyone in here think AR should get a shot? I know we have to win out and get some help from Cal and then USC against ND but what do you think?

They're better than Rutgers and if both go undefeated it looks like Rutgers would have more of a shot which I totally disagree with.

I think the SEC champ game will decide if you or florida will be playing for the NC.

fake edit: great nd is set to play for a nc if thing go right. Id rather see anyone there besides overrated nd.

Yeah the new polls in my opinion are terrible. USC lost 2 weeks ago to an unranked team and they are 3rd? ND is way overrated. The only ranked teams they have played are Michigan and Georgia Tech. Rutgers? Honestly...

Maybe your Hogs should have done something against USC. Also, if ND beats USC, then Arkansas still has no argument to make.

Good luck in the Sugar Bowl...

The USC jump is because Pete Carrol and the Pac10 nation personally built and maintains the computer poll all of them.

Sagarin's poll is ridicliously favored towards the Pac10 go look at it. Also some computer poll has Stanford at 85, yes 0-67 Stanford. They are also above a team that beat them in thats same poll.

Rutgers and Arkansas should be ahead of USC
Rutgers, maybe, purely because they are undefeated. However, USC took Arkansas behind the woodshed...50-14!

Unless Arkansas has less losses than USC, USC should remain ahead of Arkansas.

I was simply making an observation and hoping/dreaming for a National Title chance and you have to jump in and say something that leads me to believe that you are a prick and are still pissed about last night.

They lost to an unranked team two weeks ago!

I stated that we would most likely lose this game at around noon yesterday. So, I doubt I am all that pissed about the outcome. However, I am most likely a prick.

HUH? A SEC school will not be playing for the NC. For goodness sake the BCS had Cal ranked ahead of us after we had beaten them like Arkansas beat us.

The NC game will either be Michigan/Ohio State, or the winner of the Michigan/Ohio State game VS the winner of ND/USC game.

Give me a 16 team playoff, and screw this BCS crap.

When we weren't any good. They lost two weeks ago! I cannot remember any team making that kinda jump after dropping a game to Oregon State.

It was still the 2006 season. At what date to you propose the games finally have meaning? Hell, after UT wins the next two, why don't I just argue that UT should be in the BCS title game? We will have gone undefeated since we were good. In fact, I like the sound of that.

The fact is, in 2006 USC beat Arkansas by 36 points. Therefore, losses being equal, USC deserves to be ranked ahead of Arkansas.

So you would agree then that after we beat Auburn when we were unranked that we should have been ahead of them?
