How is that a shaft again? Florida had 2 SEC losses, as did UT. UT, UGA, and Florida tied for the SEC East. Therefore, the Outback could easily choose from the three and, of course, chose the best draw.Yes, they took 8-4 Florida over 10-2 Tennessee.
so while i can't reveal sources, story is that if Florida beats Arky, Arky falls to the Cotton, LSU is in the Rose, Cap One doesn't want a Wisconsin-Auburn rematch and takes UT..... i know this doesn't hold water since no one knows where I got the info, but take it for what it's worth

it's actually only the top 4 now. notre dame has to be in the top 8, and a non major conference team has to be either in the top 12, or in the top 16 and ahead of a major conference champion.
edit- also, to qualify for an at large you must be in the top 14 of the BCS
