I was all set to say the most likely to lose between now and the SECCG would be UF, but then I looked at the schedules.

UF has SEC games against MSU, UGA, USC, and Vandy. UF also has FSU, though this year that seems to be a relatively easy game for the Gators.

Alabama has SEC games against UT, LSU, MSU, and Auburn.

Really, Alabama has the tougher road, though frankly neither team has any excuse if it loses a game heading to Atlanta.

I would love to see both get tripped up, but I don't see that happening, especially with the ref's Florida has behind them. :p However, if both continue to do as little as possible on offense, they could have one of those osu/purdue type games. That's another reason why I don't get bama has passed Florida in the AP poll, they have only had what 2 offensive touchdowns in the last two games, while Florida should have lost this weekend, bama offensively has been slow.

Don't forget about TCU. If they can get past BYU and Utah, they have a great chance of being undefeated.
TCU going undefeated, although unlikely in my opinion, ought to elevate them above Boise (even in spite of their win over an Oregon team who may yet prove to be the best team in the Pac-10) and Cincinnati (IMO the Mountain West is at least slightly better than the Big East). Hell, if TCU goes undefeated and the Pac-10, Big XII and SEC fail to produce an undefeated team, they may even have a legitimate claim to play for the national title.

Not that I believe any of this will happen. They've still got BYU and Utah looming on the schedule, I don't see them beating both, but you never know.

Even if they run the table they'll be watching from the couch like the rest of us IMO.

Just running some hypotheticals.

Say USC loses to Oregon, Oregon loses to OSU, Texas gets upset in the title game, and the SEC champ is one-loss. Does an undefeated TCU get in, considering the MWC is arguably as good or better than the ACC, Big East and Big Ten?

Again. Again. Again.

TCU is not going undefeated. They don't appear good enough to be able to beat BYU and Utah both, and the rest of the major conferences would have to fall flatter than they already have.

Anything can happen for sure. Utimately it comes down to money, I mean lets face it everything does. College football is a beauty pageant and TCU is Miss Iceland.

If Iowa goes undefeated they'll be crying from the mountain tops "We deserve a shot at the National Championship". My opinion holds no weight, but I'll be right next to them yelling "No you don't".

This season could get very interesting if Cincy, Boise, and Iowa run the table. IMO the powers to be will not put them over a 1 loss florida/bama/USC. You can bet they are hoping for a bama/florida Texas undefeated match up for the NC. If Tennessee or anybody can beat bama and bama beats florida in the SEC title game giving them both 1 loss. The cries will turn into screams for the undefeated teams.

How many mountains are there in Iowa?

If both teams (UF & Bama)keep on winning, and Texas slips up like they annually do; Bama and Florida will play again in the Rose Bowl if they have a reasonably competitive SECCG.

If Oregon can keep winning though and Boise continues to roll, it wouldn't be right to keep them out of the title game would it?

I hope to God that Cincy and Boise make it to the championship game. Once the big dogs are put out of the title game, then play off talk will be more than just a hope. The argument from all the big conference teams is that if "x" team was in our conference, they'd be .500. And all the small non bcs teams say if we were allowed a playoff we'd have a chance. So instead of bickering about it, why don't we all put our money where our mouths are, and actually have a process that truly picks a winner. Not by opinion, or idiotic, illogical mathematic algorithms. But by a playoff, winner takes all.

Boise vs Cincy would be a dream come true.

It keeps Fla and Bammer out, so yes. :)
