Tornado watch boxes just got to west Knox County from deep down into Alabama. The projected storm tracks are running up the storm front so its going to be a long long night. Keep your boots close.

Chattanooga, Lookout Mtn just announced. So they're all over. Call your families and tell em to be safe. Park City and Smithland reporting damage. Moving toward Tullahoma.

Everyone stay safe out there. We just barely missed about 3 tornados to the north here in a Decatur AL. Take it seriously guys I think several already found dead in the county above me.

By the way ... as much as 6.5" or more of rain in some locations. If you got a boat in the water under a roof that won't rise on floats, think about getting it out from under as soon as you can after after storms pass. The lakes will take a while to rise. Sam (of Sam's Boat Dock in Ten Mile) drowned years ago moving his renters boats out. Sad story that.

Watch out on Rocky Top tonight. If you hear a freight train it could be a Tornado coming in from the southwest of you.

Knox County now under Tornado Warning until 12AM for a system moving northeast from Sweetwater. Estimated to make its way towards Farragut in ~30 min. According to 6 Storm Team.

All joking aside, I hope you all stay safe. It looks like some bad stuff is headed for Knoxville and throughout the South. I think our round is set for tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday.

I just installed an app called "Simple Weather Alert" for free on Android. It will alert you even if your phone is on silent. I would recommend doing the same. Get it or one like it to be on the safe side.
