Beer (and beer pics!)

Don't really bother with Sam Adams unless it is the only option outside of BMC. Too many better beers available at Kroger to go with SA, imo

I've only had Boston Lager a couple times and thought it was ok, but nothing special. Would like to try it on tap at somepoint but there's usually much better choices.

What are yall's favorite styles of beer??

Personally I like darker beers and ales. My top styles are Porters, stouts, and ales (red, brown, black, etc). As of now, I'm not really fond of IPA's (or even pale ales, really), but I feel like they'll grow on me as I get older

A freshly tapped keg of Sam Adams is a thing of beauty. Seems like you are into beers that have a sweeter maltier flavor profile. Might explain your aversion to hoppier types of beers. I used to be that way, but my pallet just sort of changed over night pretty recently. Now I'm into slightly more bitter and less sweet beers. Either way, we all agree, beer is a wonderful thing. Cheers.

A thread for beer. Here it is.

Now, FineVol...Hohen. This is what Coors emailed me in reference to Caffrey's

Not sure what this means....but it is BS.

Finevol: How are we coming on finding Caffrey's?
Hohen: What alternative have you been able to find?

What we need to do is have a mass email bombardment to coors asking for Caffrey's. There is power in numbers.

VIVA LA CAFFREYS

You can't beat a six pack of good old Pabst Blue Ribbon!

Does anyone watch beer reviews on YouTube? They're fun to watch before you try it yourself.

Usually my go-to if I'm visiting family in the midwest and the alternative is Bud or Coors. That or Leinenkugel.
I drink water if I can't find a decent (for me) substitute. Beer is too expensive to drink at restaurants if I'm not going to completely love it and water is free.

Oh, not at restaurants. I'm talking about what sixer I get at the grocery store or gas station when I'm catching up with my family.

Same here...call me a snob, but would rather drink coke than BMC. Luckily even at the worse chain sit-downs, they will have Yuenling atleast.
