Was thinking about a Michelob the other day and realized I don't know if they even make that stuff any more; got me thinking about beer I used to drink but don't anymore.

In no particular order

Busch
Busch Light
Michelob
Lowenbrau
Mickey's Big Mouths Malt Liquor
Hamm's
Tuborg Gold
St Paulie Girl Dark
Becks

What say you VN?

Never got into the cheapies of the day Meisterbrau, Blatz, Red White and Blue, Milwaukee's Best. Never liked Miller Lite.

In high school we could get a 6er of Mickey's Big Mouths for 2.29. All I had to do was come up with a buck 15 and I could split it with a friend. 3 malt liquors did the trick in high school

Pretty much all the big macros. Drink more of my own than store bought these days anyway but if I am drinking store bought its craft. Unless its free or at a place with no craft.

Those ones and then PBR, Bud Light, Coors Light, Shock Top, Blue Moon, etc. Not a big fan of low-alcohol volume beer anymore.

Essentially all beer is good, but I've got more of a taste for IPAs and Porters, and I like the buzz you get with just 1 drink.

These are opposite ends of the spectrum to me. IPAs are big hops. Porters are low hopped/big malt.

Not being a fan of the hop craze I like Porters but not IPAs

Used to drink Keystone Light regularly until I went to Munich about 1990. Then I brewed my own for a long time cuz you couldn't buy real beer in America. Now the US has a wonderfully diverse beer culture so I can buy much better beer than I can brew.

This. Drinking IPA's to me is like drinking cheap scotch. I don't care much for the lingering taste.

Just a matter of taste and personal opinion. When I first started drinking in college, I didn't like beer. Now, I don't like macro beers. I understand why people don't like IPA's, but there are many that have great taste. I don't like as many stouts but slowly coming around on those.
