You sir think you have it bad. These LSWho fans are nuts. Haven't actually been to a game in baton rouge but after seeing their fans at places to eat 4 hrs away, there's no way I'd go in there with those nut jobs.

I'm a vol fan in Alabama as well. Here lately the Barners have become just as bad as the Gumps, so us Vols have to stick together

I feel you brother. I have lived in Bham (Helena) since moving from Maryville in '94. When i moved it wasnt that bad, especially when we went on our streak. But since 2000 and even worse since Saban has been there they have tsken Doucher's to the ultimate level. Fans came out of the woodwork since he got here, even so called AU fans now claiming Alabama allegiance. Which of course means they couldnever be true fans of any team. I have just learned to not even argue back anymore, does no good plus I havent had much to smack talk about, but that is changing soon. If we had a true vertical game we could beat them, their secondary can struggle if you have a QB and physical WR's. Think we have the receivers to do it but Worley pretty much mskes the same 4-5 type throws and isnt gonna go deep very often. The swing pass to Howard, the out route to Howard and the mwdium-deeper routes he has relied on North to bail him out. You cant be one dimensional, especially just running the ball.You dont have to have a Manziel, just have RB's, which we have 2 very capable and able and good receivers. We are just missing the playmaking QB that can make all the throws and that isnt limited with the passes he can make. Worley is playing better and he can only do what his abilities allow him to do. He is smart, touch and seems to be a decent leader but he just lacks the arm and ability to stretch the field or to atleast be an option when they run the read options. Defense's know he very rarely will run it. Which is unfortunate, they few runs he has had have gained good yardage. Just not sure if the Coach's don't want him taking hits with Peterman out and obviously wanting to RS the 2 FR.

Great post Brother, I feel you and couldnt have said it better. Also hate hearing fans tell each other.." It's A Roll Tide Type of Morning", WTF does that even mean..Saying "Roll Tide" to everydamnbody when you see them. What happened to Hey, whats up or Good Morning? Or one of my personal Faves..Its Ala Football and all other school are on different levels or obsolete. Some Cocky SOB's to be so damn penalized and to have been on probation as much as they have been. Oh well Saban doesn't have many yrs left.

I go to the one in Hoover, the Manager there is really nice. Even whith my little Boy and I in Vol Gear he always comes up and talks to us and loves my little boy.

Your absolutely right. Since Scam Newton the AU Fans have become almost as bad. I still pull for AU in the Iron Bowl and against UF and GA, but outside of that I cant stand them. They were not near this bad when I moved to Ala in '94. Now its getting bad again this year with their record, we gotta beat AU this yr.
