Actually, he's just a big ol' guy with bad hands...can block better than he can catch.

he made some plays though, he does have some bad hands they need to let him block and not throw him the ball.

He was a big part of our 95 yard TD drive before halftime. BUT he did drop a few.

Agreed - that drive was huge and he made some great plays.

He was still our second leading receiver. He's had a tough year but he is still very talented. Trooper needs to work with these guys. Foster, Riggs, Anderson have all had problems holding on to the ball at times.

Its been said its a mighty fine line between genious and idiocy...In my heart(for what its worth)this team is a half step away from being 8-0. They have a ton of talent but look back through the games...all the players , they just seem to have no swagger...no confidence.

He's big, he has soft hands and he blocks well. He like the rest of the team lacks discipline and focus.

We are also just a couple of plays from being 0-8.

Anderson made a couple of nice catches but he seems to want to run with the ball before he catches it.He could be another great player for us if he can just learn how to hold on to the ball. Can you imagine this big ole boy at full speed with the ball in his hands knocking down defenders.

The guy screws up a huge play every week. He dropped a TD at LSU, He had at least 2 drops against Ole Miss, He fumbled away the game at Bama, He dropped a sure first down when we were down 7 at ND, he has a drop in the Memphis game..........the guy has aged me about 15 years this one season.

I wonder why he catches everything thrown his way in practice?

He couldn't catch herpes at an Ole Miss frat party.

No, not everyone is as talented as you are...

jmx, like Anderson, you always make at least one stupid post a day but we just try to look past it and try to find some good in your other posts. B)

Just kidding man. I am not willing to give up on Anderson. I think he has too much potential but I would like to see Holbert get more snaps as well.

Maybe we ought to throw him cheeseburger's at practice.

not arguing your point or denying anything but he didn't fumble away the Bama game, no back on this team or any other for that matter would have held onto that ball...perfect hit at the most imperfect(for us) time

Sure Andreson has made some bad mistakes, but so has everyone else. Receivers dropping balls, lack of effort from receivers WR's running wrong routes , RBs fumbling. Bad QB play, OL Holding and False Start penalties. Poor special teams play, third and long defense etc.etc.etc. We shouldn't just point fingers at one player when the whole team has had problems.

The defense is great but even they have had a few breakdowns.

I like the kid (can I use that word). He has potential and plays hard. Just can't seem to get it done when its needed the most. You go it there and butt heads with those LBs 90% of the time. When you get the ball in the open on a pass play you get a little :yahoo: excited and forget everything you are suppose to do. Holding on to the ball included. :twocents:

Cory is all right in my book...he has heart...I'm just as frustrated at some of his non-plays as anybody... but I remember last year and I'm no where near ready to give up on him yet.

Last Vol player I didn't care for was #34 Steve Johnson...he was just plain bad...
