Benghazi committee

Odds are, she gets a bump from this. This committee is probably going to have the opposite affect of what the dems are claiming they are using it for.

I think it is relevant that Lindenthal's emails are being released because they were being sent / exchanged with HRC. The "release the transcripts since you've released all of his emails" is refusing to see the point. He is relaying information to the SOS, that makes those specific emails relevant. Throw in his personal connection and the type of information he was giving.....how is it that difficult to comprehend?

Sweat Off....Scott Walker or Trey Gowdy?

She emails her family that night that it was an al qaeda group, calls foreign leaders to tell them that and then tells the American people it was a YouTube video, then has some guy jailed over the video. Lol.

Can we burn this witch at the stake yet? Who are we kidding, the anti-christ enjoys fire. Flames would shoot out between her legs in excitement.

This thread is not about Benghazi.

This thread is about the Benghazi committee, which was agreed to by Boehner to placate the Tea Party so they could pass the debt ceiling measure. Its about a committee which was created by people who CLAIM they are against government waste, then wasting close to $5 million. Its about a political party so broken, so dysfunctional, that it cannot control its off-the-reservation fringe.

So this thread isn't to find out what happened it's for you to create partisanship. Got it.

This is the eighth committee, the 33rd hearing, and there have been 11 published reports coming form all of that, ALL of it concluding that there was no wrong doing, no ignoring of emergency calls, etc. Defect in the way security requests were handled beforehand? Yes, and those have been addressed. But some sort of malfeasance that night? Zilch to support that claim.

So $4.7 million by this committee alone, which has been sitting for 17 months, longer than any prior select committee, including Watergate. Hmmmmm.

Ask yourself this one question -- and try as hard as it may be -- to be honest. If HRC was not running for President, isn't it a fact that this committee would have been concluded long ago?

You know it is. If you deny that, you are simply lying to yourself.

Let's be honest then.

State and WH stonewalled information.

Those earlier investigations had several problems:

1) communications were with held
2) State never even acknowledged that they didn't have the emails requested by earlier committees
3) the supposed "objective review" board was hand picked by HC, never interviewed her or several other people with direct knowledge of the events and of course had no access to the emails from the time period.
4) there is a "dark period" of missing emails that coincidentally surround the time of the events in question.
5) we still con't know what HC and the POTUS were doing throughout the duration of the attacks.

There's more but this is off the top of my head.

So if you claim to be honest you have to acknowledge the partisan CYA actions of this administration and HC.

But I suppose you just want to claim it's only one side that is being partisan.

It doesn't matter. The left has already won this battle. This only makes the Republicans look bad and HRC a victim.

Watch the headlines tonight and look at the cover pages of any reputable news website tomorrow and we will se who is right.

It'd be nice if it weren't so partisan but both sides are guilty here.

Yes, but on the surface the Republicans are way more guilty here. And that's not my personal opinion.

You're the one who needs to research the facts, she's guilty and everyone with an ounce of integrity knows it.

I don't doubt that will be the perception.

Fundamentally though I'd say the real problematic decisions and covering up is on one side. Republicans have overplayed in response to frustration at getting information and for political gain.

Watergate was mentioned earlier. One distinction there was that the GOP actually participated in getting to the truth.

This is hard for you, I understand. I've had to do this many times. It's ok. It's not me, it's you.

This is not my opinion about whether she is guilty or innocent. This is about the court of public opinion, and Clinton has won.

100% agree. This is about the election and she has been successful in characterizing the Reps here.

No kidding. I wonder when they'll pack it up and say enough is enough. Most people are tired of hearing this crap, and the GOP is only losing credibility.

Lol. She told her family and foreign leaders it was Al Qaeda but tells the American people at the same time and even the victims families it was the videos fault, and the GOP is losing credibility? Lol.

I might well vote for Kasich or Bush over her.

But that doesn't mean I can't see what this committee is all about. What a farce!
I have to remember not to vote for either Kasich or Bush, if there is even a remote possibility that LG will support them.........but he won't.
