Benghazi committee

But, but CNN is praising her right now on how Presidential she comes off. She's been so cool & calm all day in this hot seat Q&A presentation. After it was closed down & to go home all the photographers swarmed the table to take pictures of her.

She has been cool and collected. People who were already on her side won't be swayed by this hearing. People who didn't trust her still don't.

Personally I think you have to be an idiot to not at the very least admit that the American public was deceived concerning the catalyst for the attack, but partisanship is a silly thing.

I don't like her, I really don't.

But I think you have to be an idiot to think Benghazi is her fault.

I think you have to an even bigger idiot not to realize that the effort to make it her fault is largely conjured up.

The Blumenthal line of questioning intrigued me. Why is a civilian with a background in political strategy, working for the Clinton Foundation giving updates to the Secretary of State about the situation on the ground in Libya. That seems to be a big departure from the foundation's mission statement of transforming communities and fighting climate change. WTH is the Clinton Foundation into?

Was the info he sent her classified? How did he get the info? Was the info vetted by an intelligence agency? I mean we do have people that do that kind of work for a living.

It reminds me of Gowdy's speech at the beginning of this thing where he pleaded with journalists to do their job. It was like there were things he couldn't talk about, but he was hoping journalists would connect the dots.

You have to not know how the State Department works and most of the Government works to think it wasn't' her fault. After all the war in Libya wasn't Obama's idea. It was Hillary's. DOD calls the war in Libya "Hillary's War" for a reason. DOD and CIA were both behind the scenes trying to broker a deal with Muammar Gaddafi because they both knew that intervening into Libya was a bad idea. But Hillary pushed it because she needed something to pad her resume with so that when the time came for her to run for President again she could say she pulled off something great.

Was the info vetted by an intelligence agency? No it wasn't. The information he was getting was coming from sources who had business interests in Libya and was in many ways Hillary's outside source in Libya even though he knew nothing about Libya or Middle Eastern Affairs. You have to remember that Sid Blumenthal is one of Clinton's most trusted advisers. But he's such a scum bag that even President Obama wouldn't let him work in the State Department.

Did not read this thread. Have to assume if you added all the lies, cries, and moans put out by LG in it, you would have enough to crash every Clinton server in existence.

Great. Now our foreign policy is being shaped by "intelligence" from "sources" that have business interests in a country without any vetting. Why don't we just do away with the intel agencies an let the oil companies manufacture intel in the Middle East, or diamond companies in Africa, or Wal Mart in China?

I've seen interviews from family of the 3 guys killed and they are all passed about that video lie. None of them are like "oh this was an accident"

I'm in the Army. The terrorists used mortars to attack the consulate. It takes time for someone who isn't trained and hasn't drilled to accurately aim and fire 80mm mortar rounds. There is no way it was a "spontaneous attack."

I don't think it's her fault, and agree that it's unlikely anything extremely damaging will come of this process. It seems like more of an administrative issue than anything else. However, the video excuse is still utterly ridiculous.

The McCarthy comments went a long way toward damaging the GOP in this matter in the eyes of the public, and they're unable to produce anything earth-shattering at this point. The Dems on the committee couldn't care less. Just a complete mess.

Gowdy ' s snide opening remarks leaving zero doubt this committee is a partisan sham.

On the one hand, I agree, it is partisan, But on the other hand, who provided the ammunition?

Hillary (if anyone) should know that the GOP is watching here every move, yet she continues to do dumb s%&t...
Having said all of that, I can only hope she survives and wins the 2016 POTUS election so this country can get the much needed reset it deserves.

This is the eighth committee, the 33rd hearing, and there have been 11 published reports coming form all of that, ALL of it concluding that there was no wrong doing, no ignoring of emergency calls, etc. Defect in the way security requests were handled beforehand? Yes, and those have been addressed. But some sort of malfeasance that night? Zilch to support that claim.

So $4.7 million by this committee alone, which has been sitting for 17 months, longer than any prior select committee, including Watergate. Hmmmmm.

Ask yourself this one question -- and try as hard as it may be -- to be honest. If HRC was not running for President, isn't it a fact that this committee would have been concluded long ago?

You know it is. If you deny that, you are simply lying to yourself.

If she had not broken the law by using private email server I think zero committees would have been formed.

how is she not responsible? Is she not Secretary of State? Were proper security measures not followed? Did they not request additional security several times? Were those requests not denied with a piece of paper that had her name on it? Regardless if she actually made the decision or not, she is held responsible for being the top ranking official. I feel certain that had this been a CEO of a corporation you would be screaming for them to be fired.

Uh, wasn't it a committee investigation that discovered it?

Pay attention to the narrative son, all the bad stuff is the Democrats fault.

He'll be along with another idiotic post in a little bit, stand by to be amazed

Lol. She told her family and foreign leaders it was Al Qaeda but tells the American people at the same time and even the victims families it was the videos fault, and the GOP is losing credibility? Lol.
Again, credibility and integrity do not matter to the democrats. It is all about power and by promising free everything and getting the rich guys, she will win the base. That seeunt is gonna be the next president.

 This Nation needs the reset it deserves w/Hillary at the front. Yeah, that's a very clever statement. She's NOT presidential material to lead the country at all doofus.

What difference does it make? She broke the ****ing law and compromised national security.

I agree, I simply pointed out that it was a committee that was responsible for discovering the email server issue, D.A.

You seem to have some Pavlovian response to start barking anytime I post. Please try to pay attention next time and stop embarrassing yourself.
