I said here over a year ago, and say again today, volunteering for these GOP screech committees is certain political death. Back when the Lewinsky thing broke, the GOP talked a Florida Congressman, Bill McCollum, into being the attack dog. He led the committee hearings and attacks on Bubba.

Like Gowdy, during the circus, McCollum enjoyed great popularity in Republican circles. His future was bright! A rising star! And when it was over and the inevitable happened, Clinton went on to leave office and enjoy a very high popularity rating, whereas Republican members started distancing themselves from McCollum. He is on the trash heap now, of history.

A number of folks, even right leaning here, have speculated about why no one is discussing the purpose of that post. Seems obvious to me that, as tense as things are, everyone has been advised that putting that information out there would be a serious breach of secrecy. Going to be a long time, if ever, before we are allowed to really understand what they were doing there.

Clinton did mention that Benghazi is a day's drive from an Israeli air base. I have not studied the geography, but will openly speculate that the purpose of the post was to run not just one, but many covert operations all over the place over there, from a country with little organized government to get the okay from and an otherwise weak infrastructure.

I can't believe I used to lean left. It's astonishing how stupid that side is. Literally every single person I know pulling for Hillary or Bernie, they'll bring them up but the second you bring up Carson or Trump, they're upset. Symptoms of low thyroid function include: Fatigue, hoarseness and impaired memory.

Reporter Phillip Bump, consulting with his own doctor, Philip Weintraub, diagnosed Clinton as having 'normal thyroid function' based on her Benghazi performance.

But Hillary's internist revealed in August how the Dem front-runner's medical conditions 'include hypothyroidism.'

Clinton takes a daily dose of dried and crushed pig glands for treatment.

Hillary's health was once again in the spotlight during the final hours of the Benghazi hearing on Thursday. A serious coughing fit raised eyebrows, along with slow body movements and labored breathing.
