Berman, US Attorney for SDNY, forced out

Barr certainly does.

A lot of speculation as to the why. The only thing that's certain right now is that Trump's failure to appoint someone to a post has blown up on him this time.
Apparently SDNY have been investigating the Trump organization CFO Allen Weisselberg and the Manhattan DA has agreed to share whatever evidence they find with them.

Even you have to admit the optics are terrible if it wasn’t done for nefarious reasons. Trump and his administration have no basic understanding of perception. It’s really elementary school level.
Trump has zero desire for "optics" outside of anything that makes him look good. This isn't something new.

Jeff session put Berman in as an interim. He doesn't need to step down or resign. Once they have the permanent candidate for the seat approved, he's done.

If someone has been told they are fired and that person refuses to recognize they’ve been relieved of their duties, then it sounds like the fired person might not be someone that has honor. Just another corrupt prosecutor.

"The same U.S. Attorneys, prosecutors and FBI agents who used evidence gathered from the fraudulent FISA warrants cannot be the same attorneys, agents and prosecutors making decisions about what parts of the warrants were used to gather evidence and how each part of any case was assembled by the use therein. It is a simple matter of a conflict of interest carried by any prosecutor that used corrupt evidence."

It's always the same. The same ones arguing "soon" are the same ones saying there was no malfeasance in muh Russia! and there will be no punishments.

magic Twitter must tell them secrets
So we are just going to act like the U.S. Attorney Trump just tried to replace isn’t investigating

Trump inauguration donor will plead guilty to obstructing investigation into sources of his contribution

Federal prosecutors issue sweeping subpoena for documents from Trump inaugural committee, a sign of a deepening criminal probe

Prosecutors Investigating the Trump Organization Zero In on Trump CFO Allen Weisselberg

Not my point. It's the automatic assumption that said investigations will lead to prosecutions (which they haven't) while at the same time claiming there's no merit to investigations such as Durhams.

It's the same story every time - a whiff of an investigation against Trump is taken as gospel while documented instances of wrongdoing against Trump are completely ignored.

Ye ole double standard

Not that it’s necessarily relevant but there doesn’t seem to any public outcry about Soros $ being used to buy district attorneys across the country.

It should matter to him, and it should matter to the average citizen. If you thought Obama made us look weak on a global scale, you must also think that Trump does the same. Removing people from positions that are doing on-going investigations, even if they are completely false, makes us look like a banana republic. If it was a one off, whatever, but this is an on-going issue.

Puts Mitch McConnell in an interesting position. You knownhes pretty much had enough of Trump's antics at this point and has to be worried about the lasting effects of Trump's debacle of a presidency on the Republican brand.

So move a nominee through in lightning speed to dump this guy, which makes McConnell a clear accomplice, or let Berman and company do the dirty work of bringing Trump down? Long term or short term pain.

You're wishing in one hand while your other is full of hot steamy crap you spew

You're deflecting in one hand while the other is up your behind. Trump fought the release of that book for a reason. Very likely it contains damning information. Enjoy riding the Titanic as it sinks to the bottom of the ocean.

Wut? Obama was a kneeler and conducted himself like a vassal to the world. Everyone knew they could walk right over him because he never backed up his bluster. Syria says hello for example.
Trumps affliction of social anxiety disorder isn't on a global stage, but its still weird. He is concerned about the most petty things and thinks he is basically in a reality TV show where the best ******* wins. That being said, more people globally fear Trump because he doesn't give a sh!t about them. Thats the way it should be.
