Was at practice today according to Patrick Brown. I wonder why? Random visit?

Will also be in the house for the game tomorrow.

Really weird because I was thinking about this yesterday, and I'm sure it has nothing to do with his visit but just a thought. Who better to come in and talk to these guys about what it means to play at home? Nc State and A&M are just this year, there's plenty more examples, maybe he was asked to come in and talk about what it means to play at home. I would say he will also discuss what it means to play Kentucky, and what going to Kentucky is all about, and how he viewed it.

Just a thought.

He probably couldn't believe how empty he's heard the arena has been lately, so he had to come and see it with his own eyes.

If he tells them about playing Kentucky, he can tell them how a racially motivated enemy fan base can motivate a player (and his team) to run off 5 straight over a hated rival. Maybe King can convey to these players how much he hated losing and how his motivated him.

Coach Martin needs to take as much advantage as he can of King's relative close proximity to Knoxville and involve him more with the program.

He did leave school here a year early. Maybe suiting up? Talking about a difference once legend would make. this team would go from NIT bound to a Bernard King led final four squad.

Maybe he can tell the current team what it means to play with passion and the desire to be the best. At 6'7, he averaged over 13 rebounds per game. As a freshman, he averaged over 20 points per game. He was phenomenal and it wasn't just talent, it had a lot to do with desire to be the best there is and giving 110% effort every single minute of every single game he ever played!

to be fair, BK wasn't asked to stand 30 feet from the basket and handoff to another player or throw it to the post, then stand and watch. He was a scorer who liked to attack. He would've been @ a 15pt scorer in this offense.

So McRae is a better scorer than King in your opinion? Interesting.

Did I compare King to McRae? Did King have the 3 pt line? Does McRae play down on the block?

I was talking about King in this slowpaced and poorly spaced halfcourt system. I forgot that discussion about actual basketball isn't in your repertoire without throwing out a stat and trying to compare the two. Go figure.

It was a question. Why do you get so worked up when someone asks you a question?

I might be misrepresenting you but In what offense on what planet does king avg 15 ppg?

Far from worked up. Bto always trying to one up somebody is amusing as hell. When you answer a smartass question, which it was, you are worked up, I suppose. Watching ky play and playing tug of war with the dog takes enough energy.

The offense that was run last saturday. The offense from nc state. The offense from ole miss, ga, Georgetown, va, and bama last year.
How many shots would he even get? In the uptempo attacking offense we play well with he would thrive, but CM wouldn't allow it to happen very long, as he didn't last year or this. CM is now whining about turnovers last game and they were from him making his guys take their time in the halfcourt, took their instinct and rhythm away again, and lost. Again.

Of course its just hypothetical. And moot anyway as BK wouldn't have come here to play CM's style for the very reasons we all see.
