If freshman could have played, the Johnny Neumann of Overton HS (Memphis) on to Ole Miss would have to be in that list.

For years he was a paid usher at Memphis State basketball games and his brother is all century MSU. Everyone thought he was a lock to Tiger High and he would have played on the team that lost iin the NCAA finals to UCLA's Bill Walton's 21of24 performance in the final. Memphis never forgave him for that.
Johnny was recruited by KY, UCLA, Marquette, Duke...every major BB school in the country. He chose Ole Miss because they scholarshipped his GF.
I once held him to 33 pts.lol:
