Watched an ESPN special on Peyton last night. Everyone at Ole Miss thought he was a lock to come there because his dad and brother played there. Then he up and came to the Vols. So, everyone keep cool if they decide to go else where.

Getting these two recruits mean so much more to me than any of the other recruits. I would love nothing more than to see "Berry" written across UT's jerseys times two!
Go Vols!

If the Berry twins decide UT is not the place for them I hope everyone can remain classy just like Eric did while he was at UT. It would be a terrible thing for the UT/Berry relationship to be strained. Having said this, I do believe we get commits from them both and would not be surprised if it did not happen tomorrow when CBJ is up at SEC media days.

He was a WR for a shirt time. Back injuries forced him out of the game

Acutally I think he may have had a cervical spinal stenosis. Seems I recall that as his reason or giving up football. Supposedly he was better than peyton or eli of course he played a different position.

There are not many spots left in this class and most of the remaining spots will be needed for linemen on both sides of the ball. IF the Berrys wnat to be Vols, they better hurry up and decide.

Think he's talking about Peyton's older brother Cooper.

Edit: I responded before realizing about 6 other guys already had. My apologies Medic, didn't mean to pile on.

The Berry's have always been the ones that worried me...I really hope Butch picks them up, and hopefully thats what all the buzz about Friday is.

Hope the kids weren't sleeping on the mattresses when you pulled them. :birgits_giggle:

That's what they said in the video. Everyone was expecting Peyton and Cooper to dominate at Ole Miss like they did in high school. It's funny how things end up sometimes.

I agree! I don't believe for one second that either one of them are in danger of losing their spot in this class. I personally believe that CBJ told both Berry's a long time ago to take all the time they need, take their visits, enjoy the recruiting process, and when they're ready to commit they will have 2 open spots just waiting for them. If the Berry's aren't here in 2014, it'll be because THEY don't want to be here.
