Can't argue with the top 5 grouping...maybe just the order. Ed Reed was amazing...deserves top spot. I'd put Sean Taylor 2, leave EB 3, Roy Williams @ 4, and leave Patrick Peterson @ 5. JMO

Man, I remember looking at his picture as one of the new recruits in the back of the "Football Time in TN" magazine and thinking that he looked like a badass. Feels like a long time ago. What a great player.

Was anyone else surprised he was ranked that high? Don't get me wrong, I love EB, but there have been so many great DB's I'm surprised he got that much love.

Eric was (and still is) an incredible talent and player. He just had the misfortune of playing during a particularly tumultuous time and I think that tends to cloud a lot of our own impressions as a result. He was also basically taken out of the record hunt by Kiffin. It was necessary because of how deficient the team was in certain aspects, but I missed seeing him make those crazy returns after an interception.
