Sorry if this has already been brought up but I was just wondering how much playing time we should see out of the twins this season. Do you think they will start?

not sure. will wait til fall camp starts.

but def special teams bc they can both fly. Maybe they can break into the rotation on defense. Not sure. got to see what position they play before you worry about how much they play.

They will have a lot of opportunities to break the 2 deep. However, we do not have a lot of games that we will be playing garbage time in. So they may not see a whole lot of field other than ST barring injury. We only have 1 game on our schedule that could be a blowout in our favor, so our 1st team guys will be getting a lot of reps.

I'm hoping that Utah St. game will be a blowout too. I know a lot of people are calling for a close one, but I think we even have to many athletes for Utah St. to handle.

I think Evan has a better chance at saftey, Elliott is still looking to a position on Offense such as running back or receiver. I believe height will be an issue for both, except for the DB, Saftey or Slot Receiver.

It completely depends on what kind of shape they show up in when they hit campus...

I truly believe they both have the talent to contribute as true freshmen.

But if they do not show up in tip top shape, it will be middle of the year before we see them..

garbage time playing is not a scenario I'd like to waste a possible RS on...if they get on the field due to being more talented,fine...

Doubt they will red shirt as they are needed on special teams for sure. I could see them having similar seasons to JRM last year with the possibility of being even more involved than he was.

Still looking for some meaningful secondary depth.

I would say another "BERRY" has told them what they need to be doing to be in tip top shape,, depends if they have heeded his advice...

Gotta commend the staff on keeping the Berry family all vols; IIRC they were both leaning elsewhere until Butch & Co came to town (same could be said of nearly all our current recruits).

It's thinking like this that will have people disappointed with a close win against USU, they are good. Don't underestimate them.

The Berry twins have been working with older brother Berry since they were children, and they will absolutely show up ready to play. I'm sure Eric has prepared them and they will at least be ready to play against teams like Utah State and Ark State. Those two will bring great things to the team starting day 1. I really have no doubts about them.
