Kyra left and we got the number one recruiting class...As far as I consider,

Nuff said

Circumstantial evidence certainly seems to point to that. I suppose there are a lot of factors that go into recruiting but I've never done it so I don't know. What I do believe is that 2 year span has set us back in terms of having talented players to rest our starters. They conserve energy when they should be putting the pedal to the metal and by the 4th quarter, they are starting to run out of gas. It is probably affecting practice as well.

I haven't recruited on a collegiate basis either, no but with the Pistols, it was a non-stop process during the season, with parents and athletes asking about how to tryout.... During the off-season I either went on the HS trail looking for talent or chose a couple of kids to create a foundation-core for my next year as prodigies that I trained in the off season. .

What I do know though is that unlike me at my age, those girls under 22 yrs old need a heck of a lot LESS time to recoup than I do. Even at my age now, 56, I can still run 2-3 games of gym-rat BB before I tire out. So I put little emphasis on how "exhausted the girls might be"...What I do know is that losing tires you out a heckofa lot more than winning, given the same scenarios of games because when you win, you can dismiss thinking about it, but when you lose, especially a game that you feel you should have won...It wears you out.
