Texas, Florida, and Nashville are the places to live. Everyone is fleeing these other states because their government is ruining it. NYC used to be known as the best city in the world - they ruined it. Cali isn't any better. Florida, Texas and Tennessee have way better taxes as well.
Problem being those moving are going to ruin those cities and states too.Texas, Florida, and Nashville are the places to live. I think deep down some of them might suspect it (i.e., maybe ultra-high taxes, certain building codes, and preventing builders from building more homes in certain areas contributes to the particularly insane cost of living in SF). SF would still be an expensive place to live regardless, but I think it would go to merely expensive as opposed to "laugh out loud" expensive if those things were different.Well they should because they’re just spreading their idiocy.
I’ve lived in Columbus Ohio, it’s a great city. It’s one of the few places in the Midwest that wasn’t impacted by the closing of factories since it’s not located on a major river. It’s all about the Buckeyes. The fans don’t compare to us Vols, but I’m jealous of where there program is compared to ours.
Also The Triangle in North Carolina is great. It consists of Raleigh, Durham & Chapel Hill. You have 3 big schools in such close proximity. Tar Heels, Duke and State. Basketball is insane.
That’s definitely overstepping Fayetteville. 95% of the reason it sucks is that you can’t escape Ft Bragg from Sanford until at least Lumberton. It’s the only thing going. Most other military towns can at least escape the military aura inside the city.I always liked Savannah, GA. A place that truly sucks Fayetteville, NC. I had a friend tell me he was more afraid of getting shot in Fayettenam then he ever was in Afghanistan.
I would like to see a men's basketball game at the Dean Smith Center and watch a football game at the Rose Bowl.
That and it’s the damn hottest spot in the Eastern part of the country. Lumberton is a fine town though. Hopefully they’ll put in a casino one day right smack dab on the side of 95.That’s definitely overstepping Fayetteville. 95% of the reason it sucks is that you can’t escape Ft Bragg from Sanford until at least Lumberton. On the plus side, you are guaranteed at least half decent weather from 6:30 am to 7:30 am every Mon-Fri. God doesn't let the Ft Bragg Soldier take a day off from PT. The Bragg Weather Bubble is very, very real. That and it’s the damn hottest spot in the Eastern part of the country. Lumberton is a fine town though. My Dad was in the 18th Airborne during the mid 70’s . He’s got some stories about the craziness that was Ft. Bragg back in those days and always talks about how miserable it was during the summer months. Also, a I used to work with a guy in Raleigh and was formerly an SF guy, he’d have the craziest women show up at work randomly. Never a dull moment with that guy.On the plus side, you are guaranteed at least half decent weather from 6:30 am to 7:30 am every Mon-Fri. God doesn't let the Ft Bragg Soldier take a day off from PT. SF guys are all over the map. I know what we were doing in the early ‘10s and was continually how tame we were compared to the past. And that blows my mindMy Dad was in the 18th Airborne during the mid 70’s . He’s got some stories about the craziness that was Ft. My dad was there when Frank Lucas was running all the heroin and stuff through Pope and he said the amount of drugs in Fayetteville was nuts.@RDU VOL#14 those were two different thoughts, my bad. SF Dude's are crazy. And they're all crazy completely differently.
But the stories of Bragg are insane. We thought we were wild, but compared to old stories, we were choir angels
