Have you guys seen this yet?

University of Tennessee Athletic Facilities Virtual Tour

I know we currently have some of the top facilities in America, but when this facility is fully completed, is there anyone who will even be close?

I saw a thread that showed some pictures, but I haven't seen this virtual tour of the complete facilities. Apologies if it's been posted numerous times and I've missed it.

Go Vols!!!

You need to check out Oregon. Individual football lockers cost $25,000 a piece. Ohio State and Texas are right up there as well. I like your enthusiasm, but realistically UT does not have the $$$ compared to either of those 3 schools.

we will have the money, as soon as Dooley, Sal and others are paid off for no longer working here.

We will also get more money once we start going to bowl games and S.E.C. Championship games again.

From what I've heard from people at ESPN who've toured most the facilities in football, Tennessee's facilities are second only to Oregon's. True or not, it means we're at least comparable with the best of them, which is all that really matters anyway.

Thanks OP. I had not seen this video. I think Dooley had a lot of input to how this was laid out. That's the one positive thing he did. Is there a similar basketball facility?

Every new facility like this one will be topped when the next school does something similar, i.e., Oregon St. Ohio St., ect. As soon as we get out of the red and build some capital, you just need to keep moving forward with the latest and greatest improvements. It's as much a competition as football itself.

You are absolutely correct. OP asked the question if anyone would even be close. They are all similar currently, but Oregon is unbelievable.

Have you actually seen their facilities? They're third at best. Possibly fourth or fifth. The best facilities are arguable between us and Bama imo.

So from your post I see that you are saying as a football coach Dooley is a great architect. AGREE!

No Tee Martin room?!?! Auburn already has similar and the standard's being set. Soon every school will have overbuilt, over cushy facilities for 2.1 GPA "student athletes".

Why has ut not put together a live action tour just like this? Would be a wonderful recruiting tool IMO.

These photos I took give you an idea of what they look like. But lots has changed from what I have heard over the past few months. They have changed around some rooms, and they added a VFL room which was not there when I walked around. But they probably will constantly be updating the graphics, etc

The attention to detail is what I noticed. Even the buttons in the elevator were power Ts instead of just a normal button.
