That's what I thought also, at least, the 2nd half comment. I've been to tons of games in Knoxville that were great from start to finish, Pregame, kickoff, first half, second half, final score, win or lose, they were great crowds and great atmospheres. Off the top of my head, Florida 1999, Georgia 2001, Florida 2004, 2006 Cal, 2007 Georgia, 2015 Oklahoma, and of course, 2022 has been exemplary all year.

Selective memory by you guys. Five of those six games were before the bottom really fell out on the program after 2008. Since then, UT has gone:
2008 5-7
2009 7-6
2010 6-7
2011 5-7
2012 5-7
2013 5-7
2014 7-6
2015 9-4
2016 9-4
2017 4-8
2018 5-7
2019 8-5
2020 3-7
2021 7-6
2022 10-2
That's EIGHT losing seasons and a lot of games lost at home.
Were you at the 2003 Georgia game? I have a picture of the scoreboard with 7 minutes left in the 3rd, showing the score is 34-3 and the entire surrounding upper deck vacant. Tennessee scored a late TD and there were so few UT fans left that the Georgia fans sang Rocky Top for them.
2008 lost to Wyoming at home...how was that 2nd half atmosphere?
2010 lost to Alabama 41-10. The fans were hitting the exits early in that one.
2012 Alabama 44-13. Bama fans were the only ones still cheering late.
2013. Auburn 55-23 and the game was over early. Vandy beat you at home. How was the 2nd half atmosphere to let that happen?
2017 Georgia 41-0. You could hear the turnstiles spinning from inside the stadium.
2018. Alabama hung 58 on you, and then Missouri put 50 on the board. Crowd was still on fire til the end, right?
2019 Georgia 43-14. Another game where the crowd was a non factor 2nd half.
2020. Kentucky 34-7. How does that ever happen with 100k fans screaming until the end?
2021. Georgia 41-17. The fans came loud and proud, but could still hear the Georgia fans celebrating in the stadium as they turned the ignition in their cars.
As I said....2nd halves, not so much.
