Tessitore was on Finebaum's TV show still giving major props to UT...that was his #1 take on the weekend of football....he was very realistic in his views...said UT may not have a great record this year,but every team would be in a dog fight, and 2015 and beyond,UT would be competing for SEC East and Nat'l Championships again...he was downright gushing over what he saw Sunday...

I liked at the beginning I was Pumped when Tessitore I guess said Running through the T You are SWIMMING IN SEC TRADITION. Or something to that effect.

And I saw today where he was still gushing accolades towards the entire experience. Said TN was one of his top 5 game day experiences.

I saw this today too. Probably the best thing I've heard said about UT on the SEC Network thus far. Tessitore gets it and loves what's going down on Rocky Top! He said he could feel it in the atmosphere when he arrived in Knoxville this past weekend and that Sunday's performance confirmed it.

I know it was Utah State and they could end up being a horrible team or very solid team this year. However, when was the last time our Defense has shut any team down like this , good or bad team. I know we can't be expecting a an SEC championship this year but we are heading in the right direction my friends. It won't be long now.

On a third down Brock said "wow what a venue"!

I don't think either guys expected to see what they saw.

I watched the 97 sec championship game after UT /usu...
I am still pissed at Keith Jackson for not voting for Peyton .. He and some of his cronies led the charge for Woodson
The other announcer called him out several times. Just rambling. :rock:

Brock: Keeton really impressed. He had a nice throw down the sideline for a TD. USU played close and almost pulled it out in the end. Looks to be a real Heisman contender.

Joe: Brock you do realize the final score was 38-7 right?

Brock: Yeah but he had 12 yards rushing too. Just a pure athlete I tell you. Never seen anything like it.

Joe: I think Peyton Manning could've ran for more yards.

Brock: But could he throw for more yards? That's the real question.

Joe: The real question is why I'm still having a conversation with you. I'd rather listen to Finebaum ramble on about how great Alabama is than listen to how insightful you are Brock. I'm out...

I think Tessitore talked up Tenn more throughout the game than any other announcer I heard in years.

When I heard his quote about them being able to stay with us and make it a 4th Q game, I felt much better.
They were looking forward to being close and we were looking forward to Beating them early and easily.

Mind set!!!!!!!!!
