Shinedown w/(10years, Saving Abel(sucked) & Halestorm)...our Wedding Anniversary gift to each other...Shinedown was Great

Gretchen Wilson w/ Van Zant...Wife's Bday present....actually was a great concert

MC Hammer w/Jodeci and Boyz 2 Men....I was 15 I believe...but still awesome (on a side note...Vanilla Ice was supposed to be there and did not show...I was bummed out)

I have 3 favorites. B**** 182 in Birmingham, AL on their reunion tour was a great show for me. Blake Shelton at the Wildhorse Saloon was awesome too I was 15ft away and he had a bunch of guests show up. Dierks Bentley at Limelight during his On the Ridge album release was excellent with the full bluegrass ensemble.

I'm bumping this with my concert story from a couple of nights ago.

I was in Vegas for a conference for work the past week or so. I tried to get a group of my coworkers to see Elton John, as he's performing at Caesar's palace. I was forced to buy a single ticket, which I'm fine with. I bought the cheapest seat possible on the 2nd mez level.

I arrive in the coliseum, and my seat is two rows in front of the worst seats in the house (which still were not bad). Overall, for $77, they were fine.

Elton comes out, and he starts killing it. Just a true performer. He gets into his second song (Rocket Man), and an usher interrupts my fun, and tells me to come with her. She seemed very serious, and I'm thinking to myself, "What did I do?" I arrive outside of my section, and there's another usher, who informs me that my seat is being upgraded....to the very front row. He shows me to my seat, which is about 20 feet away from Elton and his piano (I could barely see it before).

I then enjoy the entire show, as it was truly amazing. He is such an incredible performer. He gets to the last song, and the ushers up front pull about 15-30 of us on stage (I'm included). I'm literally 4 feet away from EJ, as he performs, with my arms propped on his piano, taking pictures and recording a video. I also got to shake his hand after he came back for the encore (Circle of Life).

This makes me never want to go to another concert, because I don't think anything will ever compare.

tl;dr

Went to Elton John concert alone with really bad seats, get upgraded to front row, go on stage with Elton while he's performing, shake his hand.
