As for Mark Day lol, I have somewhere pictures from the early 80's here from Bristol. His was the first car i ever seen eat the 4th turn wall, roll and slide on his roof all the way down the front stretch up into turn 1.

I sent a letter to the editor of The Tennessean about Mr Day's latest "incident". I don't know it it will get published or not, but here is what I sent them.

I suppose it's true that a leopard never changes it's spots. It should come as no surprise to anyone to  see that Mark Day is knee deep in a conspiracy to take out a fellow competitor (Day: Oil Caused Wreck Sep 14, 2005). I don't buy for a minute that he slipped in oil, or that it was "one a them racin deals". This is, after all, Mark Day we're talking about here, the same Mark Day who orcestrated a scheme three years ago to run my favorite driver out of town. And this is the same Mark Day who in April deliberately wrecked Bobby Hamilton Jr in a late model race for no reason other than Bobby Hamilton Sr was good enough to give Deborah an opportunity in the Craftsman Truck Series. No, I'm not surprised that he would wreck Blake Carter in order to knock him out of the championship. The only mystery to me is why in the world Joe Mattioli continues to put up with his shenanigans. He should've been barred from racing here a long time ago. I would love to return to the Motorplex and watch some good racing again, I'm just waiting for Joe to take the trash out.
GO DEBORAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though most people dislike him, my driver is Kurt Busch. I've pulled for him since his rookie season. I kind of enjoy being in a minority. It makes victory that much sweeter!!!!

After reading that, It would appear Mr Day has no integrity. Sounds like he's not looking to contend on any respectable level as a man nor a racer.

Thanks for the info 24/7. I'd love to make it up there for the event. Probably won't be able to though. I love just about any form of racing. At least any form of oval track racing (I'm not too big on road racing).

Mark Day is a low life piece of trash who should've been kicked out of racing years ago.
