Best Group of Pass-Catchers Ever?

Yep, under Manning Austin Collie was a 60/600/7 receiver. I'm pretty sure Peyton could find a way to get Stephen Hawking some catches.

And that was half a season. Collie was leading the league in yards until he got hurt.

This is absurd. Maybe they don't have the best hands, but you're making it into a semantic argument.

I don't think it is at all. I think the Titans group has as much or more talent. Obviously this is prefaced on britt having his head on straight which he hasn't for years. Either way, best of all time? What a joke.

Manning has had great groups of WRs in the past. Manning is 38 and has had several surgeries and his arm strength isn't what it used to be. This was his best season, and besides 2005, no other season comes remotely close. You have to give a lot of the credit to his weapons.

Putting the Titans WRs in the conversation with them is the joke.

No you don't. I remember everyone raving about favres weapons in Minnesota. They stunk. It was a below average group. This Denver group MAY be top 5 in the NFL.

Favre didn't do anywhere near what Manning did this year and I wouldn't call Rice and Harvin below average (especially when you consider the D keyed on AP). WTF? I'm not even sure what that has to do with this conversation.

It was very similar precision just not as much quantity. Manning is obser a little bit of another level but he would have thrown for 4500 yards and 45 tds this year with any wr group in the nfl. I watched him all year I watched the throws he made and the precision with which he played the position. He was far and away the best player in the game. Much better than even last year when he was far and away the best player the 2nd half of the season. There is no other qb in the history of the league who could of done what he did. I'm not sure there are many who could have done what he did yesterday.
