There is a place up here called the South Austin Grill. They have on the menu a "Hangover Burger". It's a half pound burger with chili, cheese, onions, peppers and a fried egg on top. It's quite the tasty treat!
I bet you could gain five pounds just looking at that.
Back in the day, when I woke up with a real bad hangover, I would call me friends who were EMT's. They would swing buy, if not busy, and hook me up to a banana bag( electrolites, vitamins, sugar, some other stuff i'm sure) and within an hour your back to normal. They saved my life a few times!!!...so if you have any friends who are EMT's...thats what you need!!!....
P.S......Krystals use to be my favorite drunk food!!!!![/QUOTE]

How are things in Illinois? I used to eat at this sandwich place in the Chicago area (they are a regional chain) that dipped the whole sammich in au jus and then wrap it in foil. It was incredible and would make outstanding hangover food. Not quite steamy Krystal good....but definitely a winner.
Krystal's is awful. I had to make a vow never to eat it again. There's a reason it only seems edible when you're so inebriated you can barely walk. If you eat it after a long night of drinking, you're tasting it for the next 24 hours. I think it's worth it to spend an extra buck to get something better, or just stumble into the kitchen to prepare something.

so far so good
the move went well
wife and kids are happy and the job's going well
but ask me again when there's 8 inches of snow on the ground and minus 10 degree wind chill
that sandwich you described is an Italian Beef, and there's a bunch of restraunts in the area that spcializes in them
thanks for asking

Anyway, I used to go to some Chinese buffet on Chapman Highway to get over a hangover. I think it was called Wang's Palace. It had a big neon dragon on the front. The waiters were very attentive with the water refills and the food really lines your stomach. Afterward, you'll have a massive BM, which will help get a lot of bad stuff out of your system.
