Who do you think is the best hitter or hitters (current) in baseball?

IMO it's,

1. Albert Pujols.
2. Adrian Gonzalez
3. Miguel Cabrera
4. Joey Votto
5. Carlos Gonzalez

Yeah he's definitely up there if you consider the last two years.

Has a career .251 average and never finished a season above .260. Never hit anymore than 16 HR before 2010.

Definitely a great power hitter obviously the last two years.

Also, if you are going to put Cargo on that list then Tulo should be on it above him

That's why I said it's just my opinion. I like Gonzalez better as a hitter.

For right now as in who are the best hitters in the game today but not based off of this year alone.

In no particular order: Reyes, A Gonzalez, Votto, Pujols, Tulo.

Then I misunderstood the OP, I thought the question was who was the best hitter who is currently playing.......I guess he meant who is currently hitting the best in the majors.
