Quaid shoots Lori to avoid being killed as she was going to shoot him after trying to manipulate him so he won't shoot her. Also he says after killing her. "Consider that a divorce."
Possibly the weirdest funniest line any character in a movie said after killing a person.
After Richter and henchman mistakenly shoot a marvelous hologram of Quaid he takes advantage by appearing and shooting most of the henchmen.
3 henchmen see Quaid, he laughs and says "You Think this is the real Quaid? It is." He then takes advantage shooting the 3 henchmen.
Understandable they would be hesitant after finding out he has a watch that can project holograms but still surprised not 1 of them shot to test to see if it is a hologram.
Quaid fights Richter on a elevator, is able to throw him off the elevator, and pulls him forward resulting in his arms being removed because of a wall, and no doubt dies a violent death by falling fast to the hard ground.
That is a unique unforgettable brutal death.
While it's a dime a dozen that Villains die by falling from a high area to the ground, water, etc I don't recall arms getting removed or cut before the villain falls to the ground, water, etc in other movies.
