Best Parking Lot

I'm fond of the free downtown parking garages on weekends.

Get there early. Have a nice breakfast or lunch in Market Square and walk over to the stadium. 2 pedestrian bridges make this easier than it sounds.

Or catch the KAT shuttle bus from Krutch Park is you're old and out-of-shape like me.

The downtown parking is why I'm not all that upset with the early games. Get there early. Get a great Tupelo Honey breakfast and hea to the game. Come back. Dinner at Stock & Barrel while you wait for traffic to calm down. However, parking downtown actually allows a quick getaway toward the east on Magnolia or MLK or south across the South Knoxville Bridge. You can go north or west by going east and doubling back on 640

For the last several years, we've parked at Tyson park. It's a bit of a walk but by the time we get to our vehicle, we face little to no traffic all the way to our home in west Knoxville...often via the Krispy Kreme after a victory.....

Definitely going to do a test run at the UTC game.

How did the test run go? Thinking about setting up there tomorrow for the Kent state game but not sure what time to get there or anything
