Yeh, whatever......those stats mean jack, brother...JJ steps it up in every big game....He hung 41 on the #2 team in the nation today on a neutral court and is statistically the best Free Throw shooter in the history of College Hoops.

I remember seeing it on ESPN sometime last season... There is a D-II player with the highest free throw % of all time.

I would take Morrison over Reddick all day. JJ may be a better pure shooter, but Morrison IMO is the better all around player.....Not to take anything away from JJ, but after watching them both a few times this season I say Morrison. I know it is not popular to give anybody in the west any props on this site but whatever. Speaking of gaurds, is there a better set of wings in the country than Brown and Ager from MSU? They are so explosive it is ridiculous.

I'll take Morrison all day too NC.... kid is a animal!!! 6'8 and can go inside and outside and create his own shot!! JJ can't do that

Exactly. JJ is the best shooter in the country but Morrison is a much more complete package. He can get it done inside or outside...he can cause matchup nightmares.

Actually one of JJ's strengths is creating inside the 3-point line and hitting runners and getting to the hoop. How do you think he gets to shoot all those Free throws??? He gets to the basket and gets fouled.

Proving a point, just wait a couple months, there may be a new best player in college basketball. :D

Very astute observation however. I was hoping to throw the time of the original post by some people.

I heard someone throw out that Michael Jordan/Dean Smith comparison when describing Rudy Gay. That is, Jim Calhoun is the only person that can hold him under 20ppg.

Myself I like both Redick and Morrison but when it comes to the NBA who do you think the Chris Paul of the NBA will be next year. You know that Chris Paul was a surprise so who you got for the surprise player in the draft? I would have to consider Darius Washington Jr. or one of those guards like Aleen Ray from Nova.

Well the reason he's a suprise is because he's doing so well for such a bad team... So realistically it would have to be somebody considered a top 10 draft pick. Somebody who gets drafted later first round will probably end up riding the bench for a very good team. My pick would have to be Rodney Carney from Memphis. So far, the top 10 draft order is predicted as such...

1. LaMarcus Aldridge (Texas) 6-10 PF
2. Rudy Gay (UConn) 6-9 SF
3. Adam Morrison (Gonzaga) 6-8 SF
4. Andrea Bargnani (Italy) 7-0 PF
5. Ronnie Brewer (Arkansas) 6-7 PG/SG
6. Rodney Carney (Memphis) 6-7 SF
7. Tyrus Thomas (LSU) 6-9 PF
8. Rajon Rondo (Kentucky) 6-2 PG
9. Shelden Williams (Duke) 6-9 PF
10. Al Horford (Florida) 6-9 PF

Normally the shooters are the first ones to flourish out of the draft. That might lead one to look at Ronnie Brewer first, being the only guard in this top 10 prediction. His jump shot is not that good, though. Aside from Morrison, Carney is probably the best shooter on this board.
