Which would be better for our RPI at the end of the year?
Loss to UTEP and Ws over Xavier and WF
Or win over UTEP and losses to Iowa and KS?

Now there is a real vote of confidence. Under Pearl, UT fans were frothing at the mouth to play the best of the best. Not trying to play schedule chess and figure the path of least resistance. How about this for an option. A win over Kansas and Iowa? People want to say they support CCM, but read between the lines and you see there is not much confidence in his coaching skills.

And no, I don't think Pearl is coming back. I don't see any potential scenario where that is a possibility. That said, Pearl will continue to be referred to, because he is the gold standard when it comes to measuring success at UT. So, let's not make faulty assumptions that every reference to Pearl is a vote to bring him back, or even a thought that this is a realistic possibility.

We're projected to finish in the 80s.
Incidently, that projection comes from BTO's bible from last season.
Projecting a 15-13 season, because of our inability to win on the road, which doesn't seem to have changed.

Well it's mathematically impossible to finish 15-13

How so?
You know they don't include TBDs until they're played.
Abandoning your bible from last year?

We play 31 games, not 28. Therefore it's mathmatically impossible to finish 15-13. After the tourney that site will be a bit more reliable.

Like I said they don't include TBDs until after they're played.
RPI jumping around like crazy right now.
My only concern is that the UTEP loss could turn into a bad one. Add one more and we're where we were last season fighting 2 bads..

Could, way too early to tell obviously. Virginia at home is a huge game.
