Is this a joke? JF is so weak if he gets touched he falls and flails all over the place. Watch the next game and count how many times he either falls or almost falls.
Better than the others that aren’t even in the vicinity to put a body on someone. Orn and bhh have repeatedly gotten backed down by guards this year. It’s obvious you have some weird obsession with orn but as of yet he’s not worth a damn against teams that can actually play. I hope he becomes an unstoppable force but he’s yet to show up when someone that isn’t a jv caliber player is lines up against him.

Right now, today, he is the one I would want in the game in the final minutes. The others should keep improving though. If Fulky wanted to, I believe he could crank it up a notch if we asked him to.

I hope by the end of the season, I will change mind and pick BHH.

Just watch and count

Crank it up a notch? You mean he isn’t trying now? We have 2 losses, if I was in my sixth year I believe I would have done everything in my power to be undefeated.

No obsession at all, actually the opposite. I can’t understand the obsession with JF the player.

His best year was when he was asked to do more. I think he may be comfortable in a supporting role, but if he is asked to score, etc., I think he could add to his stats without any problem. No use in wearing him down before the SEC portion of the season has even begun, though.

It's just my opinion, but I think they are playing the long game right now, and aren't nearly as concerned about a couple of losses right now, as compared to later in the year. Sure, they would like to win them all, but a win in March is way more important.

Fulk is the better defender, not really even close…if ON shows he can play like he did last night against P5 teams then he will earn more minutes…hell even the announcer called him out on it.

As has been stated, Fulky is clearly a better defender and clearly better on offense over their careers (also a reason why Fulky was All-SEC). Get back to me when ORN (who I really like and want to do well) takes over a game against the likes of UNC or KY as Fulky has done multiple times in his career.

Also, I noticed you ignored this so thought I would re-post:
Against Tier A opponents this year ORN has an offensive effenciency of 60. Which is abysmal. He can beat up lesser opponents but he’s quickly outclassed. I’m hoping he can be a serviceable role player but considering our schedule is basically all tier a and b games I really hope we’re not counting on much. View attachment 420571

Did you watch the first few possessions against UNCG? They gave it to JF twice in the post and he couldn’t do anything, ended up shooting air balls both times. And these people want to talk about ON playing better against inferior teams!!!

JF almost never scores on his own, only after a guard has driven the paint, drawn his defender and made the pass. ON can shoot the ball from anywhere and score with his back to the bucket. This makes him more valuable.

Actually, I have not seen the last two games.

Fulky has been around awhile. I think we pretty much know what we've got with him. I think he will step up when he needs to.

The numbers don’t lie. ON quite good against lesser teams and plays poorly against more talented guys. If you can’t see this, then your bias is in overdrive.

You’re basing anything on a guy’s first two possessions? Your reasonability meter is broken.

I think the big take away here is that our post game isn't anywhere near where we'd hoped it would be at this point. BHH isn't playing like a one and done. Maybe he's still too young. Still has the biggest upside and I wish he'd gotten more time on the floor. I doubt our record is any different right now if he was getting 5 more minutes per game.

JF often scores on his own. The guard feeds him down low, and he backs his man up while dribbling, then either turns and jumps and hits a jumper released at the top, or spins to the bucket under the defender for a layup.

For those of you who voted Fulkerson, what was the basis of your choice(besides your feelings)?
Everyone likes to say that JJJ is the glue to this team. I disagree. I think Fulky is the one that holds this team together. It just seems to me that when he is in the game things tend to flow more smoothly. I get the sense that when things are going badly the team senses that it is Fulkerson that will pull them out.
