I like Washington, Jefferson, Jackson, Polk, Lincoln, Teddy, Reagan

Unfortunately, Jackson and Polk were not good Presidents. Polk was ineffective, and Jackson had too many negatives during his years. Oh, and you will be lambasted for Teddy on here. I agree with you on him, but many here will point out his flaw for granting the government land for national parks.

Washington was offered absolute power and refused, enough said.

TR, huge fan, if for nothing else he was boxing a navy serviceman and legally lost sight in his eye and never made mention of it.

FDR, only due to his leadership during ww2. He was literally dying but served.

Lincoln, extremely mixed emotions.

Thomas Jefferson expanding the country for pennies on the dollar.

Ike, probably the last great president.

I'm a big TR fan. I for one am grateful for National Parks and his efforts for conservation. If you have ever spent any time in Yellowstone National Park you would understand.

I admire Jefferson. He was a genius on many levels. I real renaissance man and innovator.

Already mentioned that I have; still do not "understand".

Aside from his foreign policy bungling, Jefferson was fantastic.

Truman was underrated. He may not be the best, but he is up there. IMO

One of the worst. There is no way I can justify all the hundreds of thousands of innocent Japanese he killed. That's one of many issues I have with him. He commandeered the steel industry. He was horrible.

And he is usually highly rated, so def not underrated.
