Is the best/easiest way to get in the playoff to lose a close game to Georgia and win all other games, 11-1 ?
If we just beat Georgia then the SEC championship game I would play to win or loose by who I thought I had the better shot of beating 2x’s!! I believe Bama to be a worse matchup for us than Ga and have been saying this

Yes we need to take care of business against UTM and then concentrate on Kentucky. One game at a time folks just like a game, worry about the next play not the next quarter. I know I know some will say but but we are just fans .... blah blah blah. Repeat after me, .... UTM UTM UTM UTM !
Are you fishing for likes or just this dense?

My focus or whatever bullcrap you're claiming has NOTHING to do with outcome of any game

Crazy idea. But what if we just beat Georgia?
Not that crazy. With a healthy Tillman, Hadden, and maybe a McCollough ready to knock some teeth out, we will be that much better. As well as Williams having more time to settle in.

Crying tears of laughter reading this without blue font.
May not be laughing if we slip up and lose that game. Kentucky lost without him and just beat a pretty good Mississippi state team. On paper tn should beat Kentucky but that’s definitely a trap game with Georgia lurking.

Think about it this way and let it sink in:

The only way we DON'T get into a playoff is if we lose to Kentucky (assuming we beat UT-Martin, South Carolina and Vandy). The way I see it, KY is the key game to reach the playoffs, assuming we don't lay an egg against the others (minus GA).

We beat the above four, and it doesn't matter if we win or lose vs GA. We'll get in as a one-loss team, a one-loss team who lost in the SECGC, or an undefeated team.

I'm not so sure a 1 loss SEC team gets in if TCU, Michigan/Ohio St, UCLA, and Clemson all win out.

Definitely a lot of football to play out within all conferences, but winning out is obviously the only way to help control your destiny.

Michigan and Ohio State can’t win out as they play each other. The winner of that game will get a playoff spot. Clemson will get a playoff spot. The SEC champ will get a playoff spot. The 4th spot will be up for an undefeated Big12, PAC12 or 1 loss SEC team. Considering the run the Big and Pac 12 have had of being upset and ruining playoff chances, I feel very comfy saying a 1 loss SEC team gets the final spot.

I'm not sold on Clemson. I really don't think the media is either. DJ is just not the second coming of Deshaun Watson no matter how many times they try to spin it

You just hear nothing about them now. I mean, maybe that's not such a bad thing sometimes. Silent but deadly and all that. Face it though, with a 4 team playoff-the thing is a popularity contest at some level.

Problem is there is nobody else on their schedule that poses a threat to them. Here is their remaining games:
Syracuse
Notre Dame
Louisville
Miami
South Carolina

Clemson isn’t losing any of those. So they win the ACC at 12-0. They will be in. Clemson is a legit playoff team. Their defense is nasty and their offense has found their rhythm.

Best Scenario I’ve n my eyes:
go 12-0
Bama wins out
Beat bama
Beat UGA again in playoff
Beat Ohio state or Clemson for it all.

Clemson will definitely knock Syracuse into the Orange Bowl.

We're not moving from 3rd unless Ga and Ohio State lose, which they shouldn't. Losing to Ga will knock us back a few spots. We need a trip to Atl or to finish regular season ranked in top 4

11-1 finish with a 13-0 UGA will have us in top 5 coke conference championship weekend Sunday. 11-2 Bama will not leap us
