Are scalpers outside of the arena as you go in? Like I said earlier to you I'm willing to spend up $150 for two tickets if I can get good lower level seats.
To give you an idea; I sold 2 of my tickets for the Candy game in 131, just below midway up, for $50 each. That was 3 weeks ago. These are corner seats closest to UT bench. As you reach middle of floor and lower the price is gonna go up. If we win out the price will go up.
If I had to estimate, for all of lower bowl could look to pay from face value to 150 a ticket depending on where you sit. For a good view, anywhere except behind the goal has always been good for me.
I second that. Don't spend more than $100 you can see well from almost anywhere down low. Haggle a little too and make sure you know section numbers to get where you want.
Sold mine on stubhub, only suckers buy from there, which is why I sold them there. My figures were if he were buying on stubhub, I forgot about scalpers
If you wait until game day, you'll always find tix cheaper usually. Scalpers will be willing to start dumping them. They'll be buying and selling that day looking to make a little money off each purchase.
For football, I used to always wait until game day until I bought season tix. The weather, opponent, etc always was a factor. It is always cheaper to buy on game day if you have the nerve to wait it out and drive to the game without tix in hand.
I'll be driving 3 1/2 hours and will be a little nervous not having tickets in hand. Worst case scenario I can buy from the box office?
