best seats in T.B. for a game

I'll be driving 3 1/2 hours and will be a little nervous not having tickets in hand. Worst case scenario I can buy from the box office?

As bleeding said, there will be tix. There always is for every game. Just depends on what you want to pay. For this one, you'll have plenty to choose from. If the scalpers don't have what you want or are too high, you can always sit in the 300's and get them from the box office.

The most I have paid this season was $70 for two LL tickets. I was in sec 119 IIRC and was on row 8. Just across the court from our bench. Great seats, a little more pricey, but it was a home game on a Saturday against UF IIRC. I go to most Sat games and Tuesday games, but I work on Wednesday's so I can't make it to them.

Yea even if we won the next 2 Zo, tickets in the LL on the sideline for vandy should be no more than 50 a piece, and I'd be surprised if they were that much.

My son prefers to sit in the 300's, so we sit up there sometimes. I always make sure the tix are mid-court when I sit up there though. LL, if you are under 15 rows up I don't care if it is side court or not. I have seen some stellar dunks sitting behind the rim at an angle most people will never see.

Yea if you can sit sidelined uppers it's not bad if you can stay under 10 Rows or so.

Zo had said he was wanting LL sideline, so that's why I was saying I don't see more than 50 a piece for those.

Of course you could see uppers in low rows for much cheaper. It'll really depend on the next 2 games.

Plus, we need 20k against vandy to be top 5, so if we win 2 and are going for top 5, it could be a crowded game.

so rows 10 to 20 are the best,is that what u all are saying?

no, it just depends where you are sitting. everyone has their own personal preferece though as to what they like the most.

IMO...

i like to sit in the lower level, on the sideline.

if you sit upper deck on the sideline then you will want to be no more than 10 rows up.

as i said everyone has their own preference, you may like sitting behind the basket in the upper deck, who knows.

Lets be honest, there isn't a "bad" seat in the house. It is largely determined on what your budget is. If you wanna pay for good seats, there will be good seats available. If you wanna pay half price and sit on the sideline a few rows into the UL, you'll still have a great time with a great view.

I sit row 19, its a pretty good view from there. Anywhere in the lower bowl is gonna be a good seat, if you are behind the goal there may be some angles you can't see, but that is going to be the only place you have that issue.

If you're not too obsessed about tip-off, game time is when you can get nice seats cheap. I have been 10 rows up for $10. Sometimes.

I keep looking on stub hub and most LL are going from $85-$200. I think I'll get more for my money with a scalper.

You absolutely will.

As I said people will lower their prices on stubhub closer to gane day as well so you can keep checking.

I'd definitely suggest a scalper though if you're wanting good seats for the best price.

Where do the scalpers hang out around The Tommy Bowl?

Right by Pratt pavilion on the sidewalks by the ramps to go into TBA. Basically very close to the ticket office.

Also, there will be some scattered around the campus side roads. Usually where people park, or where you ride the bus from at the ag campus.

Warning: If you are lucky enough to sit in the LL once, you'll never be able to sit up in 300 and be happy again. Big difference. Now, 300 isn't terrible if you don't know what you're missing.

Also, in LL, avoid behind the bucket unless you are high enough to see over the backboard or have an angle around the backboard. As someone else said, if you sit behind the basket, there'll be blind spots for certain parts of the action.

Just about all 200 level seats are good.

If you are going to buy off a scalper, print out a seating chart and take it with you so you'll know the sections before you buy tickets.

I disagree with this. I prefer sitting in the 300 over the LL. JMO

Best advice in the thread when dealing with scalpers. Same goes for football if you don't know the sections.

Head to the exit from the G10 parking garage and try to find a season ticket holder with extras in order to bypass the middle-man. I got KY tickets a couple of years ago for $50/pc at center court 7 rows up. Be aggressive.

Where is the best place for parking?

You can find parking on the road behind the baseball field and walk OR

you can park at the agriculture campus and they shuttle you over for free. After the games they shuttle you right back to the lot as well.
