It's not Comedy heyday anymore sadly. No 90's era Simpsons or good Futurama. No more Scrubs or anything else even.

I actually think the Futurama since it was renewed is the best of all the seasons. That may just be me appreciating all of the topical science references in the show rather than the actual humor.

The only show on that list I watch is Mad Men. In fact, I haven't even seen a single second of any of those other shows.

I am sucked into Mad Men, but it's frustrating to watch. The story line is murky and just meanders around. I often feel either confused or disappointed at the end of each episode.

I voted other for Seinfeld. Technically it's still on TV. :)

I don't think current futurama is bad. I still watch every episode. but compared to its heyday? nah. There's not been a Jurassic Bark, The Devil's Hands are Idle Play Things, or anything like those. I thought the movies were a great way to end the series really because it kind of merged the current and the past together.

That is terrible. I love Friday Night Lights but it isn't in the same league as Game of Thrones.

Since most of the shows on this list or has been named are currently on or starting there hiatus. I would like to add the following you might want to checkout

Longmire (A&E)
Copper (BBC America) Season two starts June 23rd., this is BBC America's first original (American) scripted series.
Defiance (SyFy)
Franklin & Bash (TNT) Returns for Season three June 19th, this is a fantastic one hour comedy/drama starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Breckin Meyer & Malcolm McDowell

Not at all. FNL is one of my favorite shows ever, I can't stand GoT. Just not my cup of tea.

FNL is quickly becoming one of my favorite too. My wife and I are watching the entire series together right now. Great show. Amazing character depth given its a show about high schoolers. Casting is perfect. Perfect mix for pretty much all audiences.

Again..... still nowhere near the level of Game of Thrones.

I was hooked on The Sopranos like crack and watched The Wire from start to finish over the winter...add in Game of Thrones and those three, in that order, are the best shows HBO has ever done, hands down.

I loved The Shield. Vic Mackey was a bad a$$. " Nah, the good cop and bad cop left for the day. I'm a different kind of cop."

Great line. So well written and acted. Loved the way it was shot too, fit the show perfectly.

I think it was the first episode that had the scene where they do a drug raid then grab the dealers gun and shot the cop. I was hooked thinking what the fudge is this. That is one of the best series I ever saw.

The line I quoted was from the first episode. I know what you are talking about but I'm not sure what episode that was. I think it was first season. I think there were some episodes building up to that scene.
