Best Songs of 2013

What about Rap God? I think that's my favorite track off the new album.

I liked it. It was different.

But it was not Bad Guy.

That is a classic.

To make a sequel to one of the greatest hip hop songs of all time 13 years later and make it almost as good as the original is unprecedented. Then to start an album with it, the storyline, the imagery, etc. Just unparalled. And while I like Em, I'm not some monster fan of his either. It blew me away.

Too bad our culture is too dumb to know great music, and it's had limited commercial success.

BTW, MMLP2 was a very good album and was actually surprised.

So Far..., Headlights, Rhyme or Reason

Rap isn't my usual genre, but hard to disrespect this album.

I'm not a huge Eminem fan but I can't get the album out of my head. I think Bezerk is my favorite just because it's got that old school Rick Rubin production. Rap God is just down right sick. I hear something new every time I listen to it.

Would be my choice as well. Hard to stomach for many (including my wife). Can't wait to see him next month.

It's pretty brutal in just about the best way possible, if that makes sense. Still haven't had the chance to see him live as a solo artist. I really hope I get the chance sometime soon.
